Last Thursday and shipped today? Not too shabby. I'm imagining "pretty quick" means less than 2 weeks, in this case...?

Either way, it's miles faster than IM! :lol:

It's even better than that: last thursday, I placed the order knowing full well they were out of stock. They only restocked on Monday - and they shipped it on Monday night.

I think Geet had his within the week.

Tempting, particularly as I only ordered the 1-guitar set. Might get onto Red Octane, then sell my single-guitar copy in the Trading folder...

It took a coupe of weeks. That was using global airmail (cheapest) but I can't remember if there was a quicker/more expensive option.

Am retiring for the night defeated by Killer Queen, cannot get over 90% which I feel I should reach before continuing. Harmonix have an incredible gift for judging difficulty curve.

What difficulty level are you on?

I have a different way of progressing. I think I'd get too annoyed with the songs if I just kept at them going for that 90% rating. My method is just get through them and go up a difficulty level. When you're getting pissed off with a song on a higher difficulty level you drop down one and nail it and go for that 90%. The idea being that you should then find it easier after having suffered the harder level...

We should definitely get a high score thread going when enough of us have the game...

Anyone had one through from Redoctane recently? My supposedly shipped on Fri 18th, but I've had no email confirmation from them and the order doesn't show up in their tracking system :)

After the ballache with importmadness and NCSX I'm becoming a desperate man

I wouldn't let my whinging put you off :) I'm being a bit impatient I think.

I have only been waiting just over a week, and I'm sure I read somewhere on their site that there is no tracking for international shipments and they'd take 1-2 weeks to arrive.

'Octane or gamestop seem to be the best bets for ordering these - gamestop also claim delivery in 3-5 business days and it was a few $$$ cheaper. My order with Gamestop is on backorder now though. ;) (Placed last wednesday)

Arrived this morning at work, but Parcel Farce have taken it away again pending my £23.68 payment.

Excellent stuff - mine's close by also.

Did parcelfarce actually bring it to you then take it away 'cause you couldn't/didn't cough the payment at the time?

My local depot ALWAYS keeps hold of anything with a customs charge and just posts a (2nd class!) letter telling you to phone them and pay before they'll even attempt to deliver it. I've been told several times this is company policy - I'd be interested to know if it's only my local depot doing this, as it's fucking annoying.

Hmm, mine was due to be delivered to a business address also, they never bothered though - just sent a 2nd class letter asking me to cough before they'd release it. Wankers.

Still, at least it's finally arrived - been getting a bit fed up of playing it with the dual shock =]
