Well, the first shot blatantly isn't an in game shot - the fact that the space marine is holding off the alien/zombie thing with one hand while shooting it tells me that - we aren't that far advanced yet, sadly.

I could believe the second image to be ingame though, but the fact that, quality-wise, it appears to be the same as the first image, I don't think it too likely. Still, I live in hope!

The footage shows these same quality of graphics, while ingame. They aren't mock ups.

See for yourself.

A few seconds of it is clearly in game, where it has an RE4-esque 2nd person perspective over the characters shoulder and he moves from behind cover while firing. No HUD, but preview footage very rarely does have a HUD.

You're quite right. Well, it looks gorgeous. Need more, though.

Nice BUT i find this decision to show external graphics is frustrating and just makes me cynical.

I'm still buying the console, but they really should use proper 'in game shots'.

Normally these shots just denote a cut scene or similar (even if they are the graphics).

I suppose it just highlights how limiting a first/third person view is really.

It looks really lovely - especially that trailer.

Thos monsters are from the Unreal Engine 3 demo - I didn't realise they were from a game; I just thought it was random art work created to show off the engine.

...although I suppose it could have been.
