I see myself (one), and you and a Paladin (that's two). Isn't that a 1 vs. 2 ? :D

The fact that there were also a dozen guards on the Paladin was all your own fault. Don't attack Civilians and they won't spawn.

So very very simple, yet you seem unable to grasp it.

Oh and about what you said earlier:

I'm a Rogue, yet I don't feel the need to use my class abilities to hide and wait for people who are already good as dead to be alone, or busy fighting guards, to then attack them.

Yet today, when I ran to the barn at little above half health to reapply Poisons and bandage, you attacked me!

So you are just a hypocrite after all.

Not only that, but even when you had it all... half health opponent, opener, no-one there to see it and help me... you failed to kill me.

You suck at PvP :)

I was fighting Rona, alone. You came from behind and stunned me. Then the Paladin ran in. Rona killed me, you then proceeded to twat the Paladin with a few guards on his arse. As for the Civs, I didn't attack any. I wasn't even in the town.

Yet today, when I ran to the barn at little above half health to reapply Poisons and bandage, you attacked me!

I started attacking you on full health remember? Then you used sprint, as usual. I simply gave chase. Like I did that time you attacked that lone level 49 Warlock. I appear you sprint off, I followed you right into the middle of Tarren Mill and twatted you, got out alive too. :D

Not only that, but even when you had it all... half health opponent, opener, no-one there to see it and help me... you failed to kill me.

I don't quite remember this? :D I remember me attacking you, you blinding me then running off. :P

You suck at PvP tongue.gif

Remember when Korral rezzed me? You attacked me instantly, I still beat you.

Right back at you. :P

PS. I love you really. :)

No.

You killed someone, started running and turned on Evasion... I sprinted after you and Ambushed you to death.

And the attack I'm talking about happened later, in the barn on the south side of town, I sprinted there from the road near the tower.

Aaand finally:

Remember when Korral rezzed me? You attacked me instantly, I still beat you.

By the time I got to you, you were at full health, and she shielded (and healed?) you. She also SW:Ped me, getting a lucky Blackout (again!). I don't mind losing a 1 vs. 2... at least I tried.

I followed you right into the middle of Tarren Mill and twatted you, got out alive too.

It was at the Graveyard, not the "middle of TM". And when you have four DoTs on you, there's not much to "twat" at... you're DoA. The next time you DID follow me into the "middle of TM", you didn't get out alive :)

Yes. I killed someone, after me rezzing, then ran to Rona who was backing off. I'm quite sure of that much. :D

Yes, I know you did. I saw you and followed. What's wrong with that? It's at Tarren Mill, fair game. :)

I was at 3/4 health, MAX. I certainly wasn't shielded or healed during the fight as I admittedly took a beating from you. :D

Yes, I know you did. I saw you and followed. What's wrong with that? It's at Tarren Mill, fair game.

But I thought you said attacking people at half health was something you didn't do?

Or are you saying two wrongs make a right?

Why do people KEEP FUCKING SAYING THIS?

Seriously, you can't seem to grasp the fact we've stated several times in the past that we don't kill civilians. The guards spawn from a civi killing, and chase whoever the fuck they like. So to say it "was all your own fault" is fucking nonsensical. :)

Surely if you are in the warzone your'e fair game for anyone?

When raids of lvl 60 alliance guys come to XR they happily kill anyone who has pvp on regardless of level.

It's all part of the game really.

What I am against is when a higher level guy repeatedly attacks lower level guys, especially in non raid situations.

And what about the alliance guys who head to either bloodhoof or senjin village to try and bait noobs in?

At the end of the day, if you go to hillsbrad and have your pvp on either expect to be killed by level 60's or stay in the alliance town.

Relax :D

I'll offer you a solution: don't raid TM with idiots.

Nah, that only applies when I'm not fighting at Tarren Mill. Remember, anything at Tarren Mill is fair game! You guys should know that, you invented the rule!

Welcome to the unofficial "Order of Cuntish Twats" then. You know you'll love it.

I would, if I could, prevent all idiots from going to TM. Seen as I can't do that, and I never enter random raid groups, keep the shitty comments on the other side of the computer screen.

I hear the horde are petitioning blizzard for Battlegrounds to match up horde to alliance that are 15 levels lower and give them 3 times as many guards as there are alliance in any given area :P

You do know that the guards in SS spawn in similar numbers when someone attacks a civilian, right? For some reason I've not seen that happen on ER yet... I wonder why?

As you well know, the entire point of BGs is that both sides will have equal numbers.

Whis side do you think will fare better? The one that's used to dominating by superior numbers from range, or the one that's used to using any means to fight outnumbered?

One thing's for sure though... it will be more interesting for everybody.

PS. Man, I love that picture Bojangle posted. See the elegant thrust of my arm as I stab that Paladin in the back with my broken bottle? That's style :)

This morning while running thru Stranglethorn Vale I saw 3 PvP enabled alliance come running past me, I was level 37 at the time and the alliance where 35, 37 and a 39, the level 35 guy was at the back and he aggroed a shadowmaw panther so I thought 'lets kick some ass here' I opened with some aracane missles which finished off the lev 35, then his 2 friends noticed and came charging at me, I sheeped one of em and concentrated my fire power on the other getting him down to pretty low health, when the other popped out of polymorph I ran about firing of my area of attack spells until they were both dead, they barely hit me.

After this I quickly found a bush to hide in until my PvP ran out as I anticipated some kind of revenge plan for the humiliation I put them thru. This was probably the best thing thats happened in the game for me so far cant wait till I hit 60 and go suicide mage in hillsbrad.

I'm at Tarren Mill, and to be honest, I'm a little out of my league. Most of the Alliance are all ?? to me. Stealthing about, suddenly a level 33 Mage appears in front of me. He's probably seen me but seems to be ignoring me. He's a full six levels higher than me, full health, half mana.

'What the hell?'

I get in a cheeky cheap shot before running around for a backstab. By this point he's come out of his stun and has already frozen me in place. He starts getting ready to cast something (probably polymorph), but I get free just in time to sprint up and gouge him, followed by another backstab. I've got my full five combo points and use eviscerate, critting him for 374 damage (the highest I've ever done up to this point). He's dead. I've barely taken a scratch. At which point his friends run up and kill me.

I bumped into him again later when he effeciently obliterated me :)

(I play Exile, a level 27 Undead Rogue on The Maelstrom by the way)

Some people seem to be taking this rather personally don't they?

And as he's a rogue, surely 'stealth - pick target - strike - run/stealth' is an ideal tactic? You're not meant to see him! Do you expect him to target two level 60 warriors on full health or something?

IDGI.

Everytime i've seen you Jazzbo, you've been running off. Dont you ever stay for a fight? I presume you only pick the fights you have 100% chance to win and your calling others shit at pvp? lol.

There is no shame in running from the mindless alliance gank squad.

I never bother to attack Paladins anymore. The result is always the same: paladin shields and starts running towards the nearby alliance group that in turn starts running towards you.

Oh and it's very satisfying to sneak right into the alliance group that is busy hurling fireballs and whatnot and Ambush + Backstab + Eviscerate = Kill... Vanish/Sprint, leaving them wondering what the hell just happened. If you don't pull it off in a few seconds you're dead.

High risk, high reward. If you don't believe me, try it yourself (on the test server for example).

Me and my bro were in STV the other day, level 38 rogue (me) and level 35 druid(him).

Anyway, I foolishly decided to molest swifthoof that walks up and down the paths. Take her down and move on  then realised we were headed to BB and we were guarenteed to bump into one horde along the way.

And we do. A ?? hunter on his mount just by the first bridge you come to at the north of STV.

He see's us, then stops and waits for a bit. I tell my bro to just keep running, and don't stop. So we do. Then the hunter comes chasing after us, dismounts, and launches a shot off. I stun the guy, then we carry on running, me using my sprint, and my bro using his travel form.

We get away, but he soons catches back up, dismounts again and takes a nice hefty swing at my brother. I tell him to just keep on running, so this time I blind the hunter, leaving him wandering aimlessly for a good amount of time, so off we go again. I was hoping we'd bump into some high levellers who could sort him out, but there was nobody around :D

we keep on running, get half way to BB and back he comes, this time we decide to just fight and do as much damage before we die. He dismounts, we fight. And, to our suprise, he's getting killed. He's not sure how to take on us both as my brother hits him with spells and I just stab as fast as I can. Throwing on evasion and blade flurry.

In the end, he goes down pretty quick with us two coming out on top. We then run as fast as we can the rest of the way to BB, hoping he doesn't come back for more.

He didnt have his pet summoned (most likely lost it whilst travelling on his mount) which is what probably saved us, but taking on a ?? hunter and killing him was most fun. :D

A short little tale from last night - After finally getting back on after the log in server went down I only had about 1/2 hour to play before I had to switch off. I decided to take a quick ride down to X-roads for some PVP. After a very enjoyable few fights it was time to head, I found myself stood behind the Alliance lines as they traded fire with the Horde. I spotted a lvl 50 hunter at the back of the lines healing up, ahh I thought good target! So I waited for her to heal then withought thinking walked up stunned her and got to work killing her. The Alliance lines move back, I kill the Hunter suprisingly quickly, maybe only three or four hits but I'm stood in the middle of the Alliance, whoops.

They didn't notice me, I still can't quite work it out. I was fighting in their midst, to get back to X-Roads I had to walk out in front of them, they still don't see me. I decide to be cheeky and hit the / button so that I stroll out towards the horde rather than run. In the end I was spotted just as I reached safety, a couple of feeble shots hit me but I carry on walking back to X-roads. Job Done.

This isn't the most exciting PVP tale I know, but I was so chuffed at not only how quickly I took down the hunter but at how I managed to stay off the radars of 30 odd Alliance stood so close I had to walk through most of them to get out. I'm still stoked now.

I was there last night too spamming chain lightning and running from alliance AoE effects...

It's when they break up that I start to enjoy myself and attack one or two at a time and laugh at palys when they shield and heal and I heal up and get ready to pound them again.

What got into the Horde last night?

Huge long raid up around Stormwind, then loads at TM kept us pushed back to southshore. Was GREAT FUN! more please!

It did seem like the general alliance folk were a bit lost in the free ranging battles, and that force of numbers is relied upon too much.

Roll on Battlegrounds!

It's funny, the raids at X-roads are essentially the same as the ones at TM. The Alliance attack from either Ratchet or the North, they are pushed back, usually to that little tower, then they attack again. The difference is though that its good fun, well a lot more than TM anyway. That tower helps, it's a great little addition to PVP and always good fun when you finally charge them when they are all stuck up there. It's possibly because the Alliance don't have a safe haven as such around there so they tend to split quite badly if they do run, before they can regroup anyway, and that means more opportunities for me.

Wasn't it last night when the PVP rankings were calculated? That's usually the night when it gets busy.
