Number 28
Hmm, I guess I'm just not getting it - it doesn't sound particularly interesting at all, and I can imagine a lot of filler. Could be wrong, mind, and I've never enjoyed the GTA series, so not one for me. I'm not too enthusiastic about it either, but i'm quite a fan of GTA. It just seems too similar to me. Like a GTA-lite. Switch the huge map for a smaller one, guns with sling shots, police with prefects, gangs with cliques, dancing/lowriding mini-games with...um...science lessons, etc. Bully does look to have a lot of charm (the seasons and halloween malarky reminds me of Animal Crossing) but personally i've only just begun to work my way through San Andreas. Most of you are probably up for it as you'll be GTA starved by now.
Verylonewolf
I'm really enjoying it so far, but then I've always loved all the GTA games. The people who cant stand GTA because of its AI problems and dodgy missions will hate this just as much. There is lots of fun to be had just running around being mischievous though, probably more so than in GTA.
rumblecat
I know what you mean, but I thought I had seen it advertised for the Xbox previously. They were developing it for the Xbox but announced back in August the Xbox version had ben cancelled, apparently because of sales for Xbox games declining (what with the 360 around now). Really looking forward to this- used to love playing Skool Daze, about time someone got around to doing an update. Sorry, I mean "ban this sick filth" etc etc.
TheSlugFormerlyKnownAsNap
It's my birthday in 2 weeks, and I think I'll ask for this. This game has been a bit like a present since its first announcement. Hardly any screens, hardly any video's, hardly anything to know what to expect. The most fitting would be to receive this giftwrapped and unwrap it literally and metaphorically.
Goose
I didn't need to see any screenshots or footage, just billing it as Skool Daze 06 would have had me sold

shirubagan
Dear God. Jack Thompson is on CNN every five minutes about this game... with ranting parents complaining that these games are "teaching our kids to beome criminals, drug abusers, murderers, drug dealers" etc. Idiots. Nick_L
Well, had a quick blast tonight. Story seems ok so far, controls are nice, loading times seem longer than GTA:SA, graphics nice etc. Seems to be a lot going on in the areas I've visited, the video review was right about it being very detailed. Combat seems better than GTA, with the ability to grapple and throw the enemy. Too tired to play anymore tonight, but should get some good play in over the weekend
Splendid
Played the opening 30 minutes. It's pretty amazing, despite the tiresome loadtimes.
Splendid
So why is no-one gushing over this yet? It's pretty clear that the opportunity for mischief is pretty wide and it has that lovely Rockstar couldn't-care-air to it.
murray
I'm not gushing yet as i haven't played it yet. Looking forward to next week though.
hughes
I'd imagine most people who want it here will get the PAL copy next week. Also, next Friday is my last day at work for a week so I'll have some free time to rinse through this game.
