essell
Sounds cool. and not so deliberately controversial as i thought it might be, back when those first screenshots were posted before. kudos to rockstar.
Graham S
There are humiliation moves to experiment with (used when an enemy's on their last legs - you can even do that "why are you hitting yourself?" thing) Hahaha.

Polmon
What is that? I must have missed out at school. Where you hold someone's fist and smack them in their own face with it. I'm pretty sure someone does it to McFly in BttF.

alexander
A few people have had a chance to play, and it sounds ace. It’s not the affront to morality the right wing press feared it seems. There is a good streak through and through. Wired article
TheSlugFormerlyKnownAsNap
Almost forgot about this. Another definite purchase ... why can't they spread the good games over the year instead of releasing them all in the last 3 months of the year? Uncle Nasty
Is this just on PS2? Yes. The console that keeps on giving. With Bully, Raiden III and DMC Special Edition within weeks of each other, it's been a great month.

Goose
Don't you play someone fighting against the bullies? Well, it wouldn't make much of an article would it?! ---------------------------------- Ban This Sick Filth!! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/arti...in_page_id=1770 Campaigners are calling for a violent new computer game, in which gamers play a school bully, to be banned. The aim of the PlayStation2 game is to terrorise the other pupils at a school. Players dish out beatings, throw stink bombs and give 'wedgies'by yanking at their underwear. Game developer Rockstar Vancouver has already had to change the name following complaints about the original title - Bully. The game is now called Canis Canem Edit, which is Latin for Dog Eat Dog. The game has already caused a major outcry in the US, with a protest in New York and condemnation from anti-bullying charaties. In the UK, campaigners including Labour MP Keith Vaz are now calling for it be to banned. An insider at Rockstar Vancouver said: "The game gives kids the chance to misbehave at school and get away with it. "It might only be a computer game but there are lots of realistic elements." Released at the end of this month, the sick game is expected to be another massive hit for the company which also created the lawless Grand Theft Auto series. Dimahoo
Love the way they don't mention Manhunt - or Warriors. But whats even greater is Rockster constantly seem to publish titles that appeal to our darker halves - the bits we wanted to do but were too scared. They give us a chance to look at the life of other people we'd normally never see or scenes we'd never be part of. Rowan Morrison
Assuming there's any truth to that Mail article, I'm going to find a Beano from the 1970s and send it to Keith Vaz in the vain hope it gives him an aneurysm. Stink bombs on every page, I bet.

Guest
What the hell is going on with this game?? Its supposed to be out this month and STILL I have not seen any videos showing any gameplay! Rockstar are good at that. Credit to them. They didn't do much GTA3/VC/SA hype really - until the game was released anyway.
TheSlugFormerlyKnownAsNap
Kudo's to rockstar for that. When I booted up GTA:SA or Manhunt for the first time I didn't have a clue what to expect. I'll buy this game at launch without reading any reviews and play it the first weekend after. Somehow I think this will be a bit special.
Philly
This is a hidden gem in the making! Can't wait. I have only the happiest memories of skool daze and hope its this generation's version, i'm just kind of gutted this is not coming out on the 360. I've gotten quite used to the whole aspect of being constantly online seeing what everyone else is up to and jumping onto another game when everyone piles online, then back to something like Bully when all is quiet again. I'd love to have seen this running all next geny with achievements and stuff. I'm not knocking the PS2 (okami is incredible and GH2 will be too i'm sure) but i love just using the 360 now. Loik V credern
Not played a game in months, and watching Manhunt being played the other day reminded me why I enjoyed it all over again. The atmosphere, art style, music and dialogue were all top. Expect the same for Bully. Can't wait! Now to avoid that long preview article above and no doubt 'exclusive' review in some PS2 mag in Asda..

Nate Dogg III
Yep, I wish other publishers/devcos would follow this example. Feed sensationalist disinformation to the mainstream media in the belief that all publicity is good publicity without sparing a thought for its effect on said mainstream media's representation of videogames as a medium, you mean? Yeah, that's fucking great. I really must get some more commas.

TheSlugFormerlyKnownAsNap
There are few things I care less about than the mainstream media's representation of videogames. If it isn't childish and immature, it's violent and sick. If it isn't violent and sick, it's antisocial and epilepsy-inducing. If it isn't antisocial and epilepsy-inducing, etc. The mainstream media will always spout sensationalistic rubbish about anything they, and their readers, know shit about . The Liberal Elite
Ruling tomorrow, apparently, after the judge looked at it for approximately 4 hours - slightly less than the 100 hours that the judge initially demanded. which means 1 of 2 things - either the judge saw that it really as innocuous as most sane people believe it to be, or he actually believes that it will deprave and corrupt. Chances are it's the former.
