My set up, including the 'Games Choice TM' Ikea tv cabinet. Wide range of consoles from Dreamcast to Panny Q and 40" Samsung LCD. I'll take more pictures another day of the gaming posters and tat in my room.

What skin is that on your dahboard? Is it one of the defaults?

you scored a jackpot on that fruity yet? mine's still eluding me.

i hardly get it, but my friend gets it quite often (about once every 300 credits)

i havnt got a volume control on mine, so it always pisses me off when you get the bonus anyway as the volume goes bloody loud when you get it.

Nice TV mate :( Have you connected it up to your PC yet? and if so what type of lead did you use.. want to do the same on my 40inch Sammy R74.

Not bothered if im honest, cant personally see the benefit of using the tv as a pc monitor as i like sitting out my desk when browsing the web and only really play RTS games on the pc. Now if i had a 360 pad and some fps then i could certainly see myself using it. VGA port will be being used for my Dreamcast though, as soon as a find a good sodding VGA lead that isnt expensive.

PGR3 backgrounds i got on it, rather nice it is too, and its free i think.

Deffinately - that looks like a one way ticket to overheat city there! Red lights o'doom wont be far off if you dont move that to get some breathing room (and the PSU too - dont just wedge that in at the back of the unit for gawds sake!)

I don't know, I've got the same stand (seems to be few who haven't) and there's plenty of room for the air to circulate round the 360. Mine's in the same position, and I've never had a problem (well, it froze in Battlfield the other day, but nothing else).

I have got the PSU on top of the case though. I'm not suicidal.

Treble, where did you get that telly stand from?

Sorry, only just spotted this question.

Well, I went to get this one from Ikea, which is the one everyone in the universe owns:

But I saw this one and, although not quite as functional, I think it's much prettier:

:(

Loads and loads of consoles to add over time. I particularly like displaying this lot, but have to 'break the GF in', so to speak :(

Thought a more recent pic of my lounge was in order. Nice tidy install I thought. Certainly the Mrs approves. And plenty of air space for the 360 to breathe :)

Just two wires running off to the left - one to the sub under the coffee table and the other to the Media Centre behind the sofa (networked to the 360 as an MCE Extender, and thats all then bridged wirelessly to my router upstairs)

And heres where I play PC games

Beautiful setup, Valver. nice one :)

Treble wins! Something.

"Biggest geek evah!" Award?

i want.. where? how much? :)

It's a Twin Famicom. Some info here:

Great quote:

Comes in Black and Red. Red was replaced by Black because it was

considered more "manly"....

That's why I went for red, as it's slightly harder to find. I got mine from Japangamestock for about £75. Their site seems to be down at the moment, though.

The unit itself is actually quite deep and wide. My 360 actually runs cooler there than when its on top of the unit for some reason, guess because the air flows through the unit better. The unit isnt also right up against the wall so theres a good few inches of gap between the back and the wall allowing the hot air to escape. The PSU was by the side of the machine, now its on the lower section of the stand because the DC and GC are hardly the hottest consoles ever.

Valver, MCMLXXXVIII: could you tell me where you got that TV stand?

I wants one :D

I got the stand for £99 from Currys online. (http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/802_215619.html) It was normally £199 (?) but if you bought it with the TV you got a load of cash off. Its a really nice size and seeing as I was buying an HD TV that didnt come with a stand the deal was too convenient to pass up :(

Seems its now £99 to everyone who buys online. lucky you!

Valver, I have that TV and stand by the looks of it.

Checks upstairs... :(

...checks back in living room. No, its deffinately mine :D

Sweet.

Not quite as good but I could manage 12 player Lan stuff in my house without too much fuss. Got the 32" Samsung HD CRT downstairs, the projector upstairs on to a 90" screen and sat below that is a 28" widescreen JVC.
