You're not wrong. It's darker than it looks in the pic, but yeah, a nice brown to go with the walls would be nice.

A few companies make 'natural' kind of carpets at the moment, ranging from honeysuckle to golden to light brown. Would look nice.

Yeah, I know it spoils the shot. There's nowhere else for the bin itself to go though.

I'll tidy things up and do a panoramic thing for all my fans! :X

I do have another N64 magazine cartridge holder somewhere. And my startrek collection used to be an awful lot bigger than juts the box sets (every DS9 tape). Once I put the new floor in my bedroom and rebuild part of the ceiling then I'll post a new picture and it'll look pretty sweet (the rooms huge enough to fit a bed, a sofa and another 2 computers and my painting I'm doing of Darth vadar). Oh and the front N64 game is sin and punsihment and if you look very closely you will see a certain Jap saturn game as well.

Looks like a nice gaming chair for long sessions :] What sort of picture does the projector output?

It's a Sanyo PLV-Z4. does up to 1080i but I generally use it at 720p for 360, PAL DVDs are 540p (must get around to buying a new player, but I like the one I have cos it has an HDD).

Chairs are very comfy but are faulty & squeak, getting replaced. As do the lovely B&W speakers, the sound is awesome but just wrong for the room.

Dark blue carpet doesnt go to well with the red walls.

I beg to differ.

Beg all you like - you're clearly colourblind.

Totally agree - our living room was like that when we moved in, and we decided the previous owners were either colour blind or Russian.

We finally redecorated our bedroom last week.

Purple and green = somewhat obscene.

And the brown didn't help either.

I think a nice room is surely part of your gaming setup, it has to be said, there's a lot of great gaming setups in this thread technologywise but only one or two actually nice rooms.

Check mine out :P nice pale blue walls and cream carpet.

Only thing letting it down is the flaming wires.
