Yeah but you could catch something in there.

and to get on topic, here's my new setup (distinct absence of consoles you'll find, but they're there... lurking), linked elsewhere but I thought maybe relevant...

Looks very nicely done, but I often look at nice big wall mounted TV's like this and think it looks a bit high up the wall, and you'd sit there staring upwards. It's certainly different from your original 32" CRT which sat on the floor. I take it that it all feels perfectly natural to you ?

the sofas are quite low, you can lie lengthways on that one on the right and look up at the screen fine (like the wife) or you can sit in the one opposite, leaning back and it feels about right.

I did put the screen lower than originally planned & I'm pleased about that. It could get away with being a foot lower but wanted to keep it away from little fingers too so it's an ok compromise. The bottom is about 1.1m off the floor

It's not a huge room but at least twice as long as it is wide, probably more and it also steps out so it's nearly twice as wide at the "rear" as it is at the TV end. Those speakers (except the 500W sub!) aren't that powerful, work quite well for the room size. I've never had the amp above -50dB, would like to run it properly one day when the wife's out and the little old lady who lives behind that TV has gone out to see her relatives. Don't want to give her a cardiac.

Yeah, they're M1s (can stand em on a cabinet as well as wall mount them & the metal stick thing conducts the signal so no wire showing) and B&W do seem to keep tight control of their retail channel. They're £125 each, I've never seen their stuff discounted online although the shop did give me an unexpected 125 off the sub+3 sats out of an MT-30 bundle. Weirdness since it left them with 2 unboxed sats.

I'm just too lazy to put all the games and dvds back after playing :)

I dont have a lot of space to play with so its very cramped, need to get rid of the PC desk as its too big for a laptop.

I've only just moved house so the current set up is an abomination against aesthetics, but I have to have 'em set up to play, alright?!

!

I actually quite like the cabinet I use as it hides away everything when it's not in use. Used to have everything on show on a glass cabinet (read: TV stand) and stacked on top of each other but with all the wires and stuff it just looked a mess.

Sorry! Wasn't looking at your pics when I said that! Seen a few in this thread where a beautiful TV is balanced on something that looks like it will fall apart any second!
