It looks as though ILS' new album will be available from the Distinctive site early.

Got an email off of them this afternoon:-

"ILS:

Our latest signing Ils is really causing a stir not only within breakbeat circles but further afield. Ils forthcoming album 'Bohemia', due for release on Monday 9th May, has been receiving support from a very broad spectrum of people including Pete Tong, Zane Lowe (Album of the Week), Laurent Garnier, Ian Pooley, Plump DJs, Stanton Warriors and even lads mag LOADED (Album of the Month). All in all things are hotting up nicely. If you want to get your hands on 'Bohemia' before it goes on general release be sure to check out the Distinct'ive website from next Monday."

Been looking forward to this for some time and his studio album and his Y4K mix are still played to death.

If you are a fan of good quality breaks its worth checking this out as it sounds fantastic.

Mine turned up this morning and I'm giving it a listen now and I'm pretty impressed. Quite dark really, and that to me is a good thing.

Storm from the East and Ill-logic so far have stood out.

I bought it because of the stuff on here, and it's...OK so far.  some of the later tracks are pretty good, but the first couple are a bit hmmm.

Reminds me of Tiesto's albums a little bit, too. Whether that's a good thing or not is debatable though.  Still, a few more listens needed, obv.

I'm surprised by that. What do you mean exactly? It sounds like Tiesto? Trancey Tiesto?

Now Im waiting for the Evil 9 Y4K mix.That just has to be great.

When?

They are fucking amazing live - if they can emulate that, I'll be a happy bunny.

The last email I had from them said it was due to be released in July.They have finalized the track listing are in the studio mixing it.
