What Are You Playing?

.::: I just started Metroid Prime again. Amazing how I love to replay this one, but can't find the heart to replay Echoes (which got a Jap site btw).

Metroid Prime is incredible, like SOTN it's one of those games that I never get bored of, no matter how many times I've already played through it. I've never really got into the sequel though, I've only played it a couple of hours since I bought it on release :D

I'm back on Broken Sword II at the moment- hopefully this time I'll finish it at last!

Hot Shots Golf arrived today for the PSP. And while I'm not a fan of golf games, I needed something else for my PSP, for fear of it being waste of cash in the first place.

Yoshi Touch and Go. I'm hooked. It's nice because I can play it on the train and at lunch. I don't have any time for other console games at the moment. So this way I get my fix.

Must finish Zelda Minish Cap as well. On the final boss, just haven't gone back to it for ages.

Aye, it's brilliant. I have the same feeling towards Super Metroid - much more so, in fact!

Had another go at starting MGS3 last night, and by Jove I'm really enjoying it. I'd tried previously but obviously just wasn't in the mood for it or something.

Having said that, in about 2 hours of game time I think I actually controlled Snake for 20 minutes.

got to the bridge yet? Its the first sign you get of the 'borkedness' of the stealth system

Now playing:

Yoshi's Touch & Go and Electroplankton on the DS.

That's it. I would be playing on my PSP, but the battery died on me - I've ordered a new one.

My games are boring me so much at the moment; the DS is my only saving grace. I'm tempted to sell many of them, but I'm scared I'll regret it - like I did with the likes of Ninja Gaiden, Luigi's Mansion, and...Perfect Dark/Mario Kart 64 :)

I know what you mean about being worried to sell games. I look at my console games and a dont really want to play any now... but most of them are classics, what if I want to play them in many a year's time? Its not worth a couple of quid trade in.

I started up on Toch n Go again this morning although I find that if i do crap the first time round i just turn it off in frustration.

Playing DOA Ultimate, just got it yesterday, it's really good. The thing is, when I got DOA3 it just ended up in my draw because when I played it didn't really click. But after playing ultimate, stuck it on again to see the difference and ended up playing for a couple hours and really liking it.

I was going to buy Splinter Cell Chaos Theory but ended up getting DOA Ultimate, not sure why just got the urge to see it.

Halo 2 (Xbox) - I finally got round to doing the last two levels, after leaving it a few months ago due to sheer boredom.

Pharaoh (PC)

Theme Hospital (PC) - I love this game so much it hurts.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (Xbox) - I loved it when I first got it, until I came to the mess hall and the horrible combat system that simply refuses to let me do anything. I tried it again this week, and I still can't do it.

Beneath a Steel Sky (PC) - Brilliant.

I haven't actually touched my PSP in weeks. I wish I hadn't bothered with one now. Does anyone know when something interesting is coming out that's not another sodding puzzle/racing game?

I'm holding out for Death Jr and Virtua Tennis.

Well I think Armored Core: Formula Front is out at the end of June. Also I'd recommend Hot Shots Golf which is pretty damn addictive IMO.

I've been playing Hot Shots Golf recently too. I've never taken to golf games, but I decided to go for this because I thought it might be relaxing to switch the PSP on for a few minutes and finish a few holes at a time. I was also pretty much bored of every other game released for it so far, save for Wipeout.

I'm very addicted to it now, and I played it for a good few hours yesterday while the TV was on. It's so easy to pick up and play, and the cute characters and imaginative courses make it all the more enjoyable :)

Agreed. It really is a great game.

I'm still playing Tekken 5 quite a lot with one of my friends. Fighting games can mess with your head so much. I own him completely, but they're always such a mind game (unless one person is completely incompetent). You can have all your moves dialled and still lose because you were wrong with your second guessing. It's both very very cool and infuriating. I won 30-5, most of the losses were with Feng, who I thought I could use but just wasn't "feeling" yesterday.

I got hold of Ballistics (PC) recently (for the uninitiated, it's one of the fastest racing games ever and excellent fun) and I've been playing through the rookie championship so as to unlock tracks in Single Race mode. It's interesting how something so fast can have such beautiful track environments as well...needless to say I should be focusing more on the red beams hurtling towards me, but still...it's a fine game. Now I just need to convince my brother to install it so that we can try and get multiplayer working...

Trying to play Panzer Dragoon to completion, so I can get through the series game by game to conclusion.

Frustratingly, I keep dying on episode 5 at the boss, meaning I have to start all over again (thanks to the wonderful lack of a save option).

I only want to build up to Saga's supreme deliciousness without jumping straight in. :/
