What Are You Playing?

.::: Currently still Touch! Kirby which is one of The Reasons to own a DS despite whatever EDGE claims. Also a bit of WoW now and then and I'm dipping into Metroid Prime and Zero Mission as well. (The latter is becoming more of a training session to polish my Run-skills.)

What? WHAT?!

I really hope you mean you're only playing it for 10 hours a day as opposed to 12.

I actually haven't played it for a few days now. I got to the point last week where I logged on and just sat in my mog house for a few hours as nothing really interested me. So I dedcided to take a week or so off do some other things, catch up on the games I've missed and will most likely be back later this week to start NIN properly.

(Hi folks, new to the forum!)

I'm currently playing the brill but rock 'ard Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox...

Hadn't heard much about this game but decided to buy it on a whim and have to say it's a pretty top notch affair. Certainly a challenege!

Here' hoping the 360 get's a well deserved sequel to the game!

.::: Isn't that one of Tecmo's hot potatoes right now? As in. they won't say which platform will get the sequel?

that's next on my list once resi's done with. had it for ages, got about four levels in before leaving it for a couple of months, then of course when i went back i had no idea where i was supposed to be going.

sure is hard. but supposedly worth it.

Currently about ten hours into Tales of Symphonia. After a very dull start it's picked up considerably and I'm enjoying it a lot, although I had to turn off the voice-acting... it's terrible. The whole thing's incredibly twee but it reminds me greatly of the original Grandia, which is A Good Thing.

Oh, and PSP Ridge Racer. I'm about halfway through the Pro races and it's become teeth-clenchingly difficult. Every so often I pick it up, swear profusely at it for an hour or so and put it down again. The mini-game at the start is great fun though. :(

I am currently drowning under a back log of games, so here goes:

PC - HL2

XBox - Halo 2, Outrun 2 (and not to mention KOTOR and Amped 2)

PS2 - GTA: SA (thia game is just too big... I've only just got back to Los Santos for the second time)

GC - Bit of RE4: Mercenaries and Metroid Prime 2

PSP - Ridge Racer, Wipeout Pure and Lumines.

I keep looking longingly at the new Oddworld on the XBox too, but I CAN'T buy anything until I've finished some of the above. I also want to go back and re-visit SH1, 3 and 4; Manhunt and my weed-infected Sheptown in Animal Crossing.

Looks very overwhelming all written down (and this is ignoring my almost untouched PGR2 and Transformers)... Think I should just give up (or maybe just give up my day job :( )

Duuuude, Transformers is one of the best PS2 games out there. No, seriously.

I can't stop playing resi 4.

I really want to start something new but I'll not be happy until I complete mercenaries and get the hand cannon then play through again with it and the chicago thingie gun.

If got all 5's with leon and krauser atm, wesker will be easy I reckon but hunk and ada look tricky.

I bought Yoshi's Touch & Go a couple of days ago, and it's pure magic. The only problem is, now that I've unlocked Time Attack and Challenge Mode, is there any incentive to keep playing? Yes, yes, I know. Fun. But it IS essentially just one level.

Had another go at starting MGS3 last night, and by Jove I'm really enjoying it. I'd tried previously but obviously just wasn't in the mood for it or something.

Having said that, in about 2 hours of game time I think I actually controlled Snake for 20 minutes.

You get a balloon minigame or something by getting the high scores on all the modes. Personally I've only bothered with the marathon mode, so I don't know what the minigame is like. From what I've heard it's meant to be pap.

Gradius III for me. Why doesn't anybody really play these? They'd be ideal for all you folks who can never find the time to play games - short and sweet.

There should be a Gradius section on the forum, actually. Competitions galore!

I play a bunch of shmups on console and MAME several times a week, but they're not the kind of things I hammer (I generally have one credit on each and move on), so I don't really consider myself 'playing' them, the way I might get stuck into a Final Fantasy or whatever.

Having just got home from university I no longer have just a PS2 to play :D

So now I've started playing Majora's Mask on the Gamecube Zelda disc. Of course this lead to me playing my N64 and so I also have a game of Diddy Kong Racing going now as well

The fact that I haven't been able to afford new games in ages means I'm playing loads of retro games or games that I never got round to like those above, but hopefully if the nintendo stars catologue starts working before they're gone I'll have Yoshi's Universal gravitation in the post soon :(

I've just started giving HL2 Deathmatch ago but it's an uphill struggle. I need to practice but I lose heart so quickly as it seems every player's gun shoots quicker and stronger bullets, while they move at the speed of light. Times ten.

Stuck and slowing stopping caring in Brothers In Arms at about D-Day +6.

Lumines but stuck at about 50,000 points... I spazz up that red and white ball skin every damn time.

I can finally go back to Lego Star Wars now I've seen Episode 3.
