Damn, always forget the British Superbikes. Was the race any good?. I'll see if I can download it if it was. thanks.
They only showed the highlights of race 1, then race 2 live on ITV. Wasn't loads of position swapping or super amazing overtaking maneuvres, but was good fast races with a couple of riders in particular doing very well.
(without spoilers please)
Just in case you don't DL it.

Kiyo doing the double closely followed by Rea in both. Then Leon Camier coming from the back of the grid to finish 5th and 6th respectively was particularly impressive. Bad weekend for Lavilla with 6th in race 1 and a DNF in 2 due to a bike failure. A slight pace car interuption to race 2 after Rutter fell off

Edwards must have burnt down a church in the past or something? So unlucky....but good work by Vermin, Stoner, and particularly Hoffmann.

Can't believe Guintoli. How did a) Rossi avoid him, and B) he get up, get back on a bike and go out again. Now that's adrenalin.

Pasini must've poured the petrol while Edwards lit the match.

Looked even more unbelievable when they showed it from Rossi's onboard camera. Them's some speedy reactions. Guintoli's gonna be aching in the morning, looked like that adrenalin was already starting to wear off on the BBC interview after the race.

Speaking of interviews, I wish Bradley Smith would stop saying "and stuff" every 10th word. I like him, but it's really annoying me now I've noticed it and can't un-notice it.

It's reminder bump time again. MotoGP from Mugello on sunday this time.

Well Silverstone WSB was a bit of a let down with Race 2 cancelled cause of the moistness and not too good a show from the Brits. Glad I stayed home and watched from the comfort of my dry sofa.

Though JT's admirable comeback to finish 8th in Race 1 after his early fall was impressive, it was lessened slightly by getting lapped at the end by the Troys and the continually amazing Haga.

Nice vid McFly, but 1:14, Beverly hillbillies?? :)

Would've been nice to see your speedo to get a proper idea of your velocity, but I suspect it's better not to show it in case you have a accident or get pulled over and the old bill get hold of the vid

ridin like a puff... ;-)

Ave him McFly!

Ha, the guy who left that comment is mate of mine so i'll let him go.

Yeah its not good to show your speedo, people have been getting nicked after showing them on youtube and they can confiscate your camera/footage so dont wannna chance it, i have 9 points as it is! But as a guide on the straights i'm doing about 120-140mph and generally over 80. Was at a track day yesterday at Knockhill which i forgot to film any of :)

Hope the race is dry today. Bradley Smith did well on teh crappy Honda today, he was on Radio5 yesterday so hopefully some exposure will help him get a better ride next year.

Get in! 6 out of 6 Mugello wins for Vale after a bit of a squiffy start :)

The fans are going fuckin nuts. It sounds like a big football match out there ^_^

Amazing race, looked like a hard one too, Pedroso certainly wasn't giving up easily.

125's and 250's were quality too. Lorenzo nearly winning from 20th, that would've been pretty special.

Yeah, good result from Bradley for 8th place, benefiting from a couple of fallers on the last corner.

Stopped off here while I was in town...

Week before that I was in France to see young Bradley pick up a podium. Putting some miles on the bike this summer.

Mucho jealousy from me Curium, a foreign GP is on my to do list shortly, my bro has pit passes for Laguna Seca the jammy fucker. And my old boss (Colin Edwards uncle) and his family used to get into Yams hospitality and his son has partied with Rossi et al.

Anyone been watching the TT coverage on ITV4? The senior (and last race) is on tonight at 9pm, sounds like there was a big accident today with 3 deaths

Awesome race! Just booked tickets for Donington Park - they get more expensive every year :(

Will be my 3rd GP this year (Le Man & Mugello already)with a trip to Assen on the cards and some talk about Brno going on 8)

Gradually making my way around the euro circuits. Valencia & Catalunya in 2004, Le Mans & Mugello in 2007. Obligatory trip to dony every year with Assen hopefully on the cards. Hopefully Estoril & Jerez next year.

Was an amazing race, 5 manufacturers in top 5 places in qualifying and race!

I've been to Donington a couple of times, the last time was when it was pissing rain, which was a fucking nightmare and getting in and out of the track is just awful, so i'm not going with my bro and dad this year. I'd rather go abroad for a GP and tbh i get bored sitting around all day.

Great race...and well done for Stoner....he's a really nice guy...Even if I did beat him at MotoGP 06:

Well, 1 time out of 3

Just got some tickets for Donington, which should be cool...especially as I'm not working!!!

  • 2 weeks later...

Aye, saw qualifying yesterday, nice one from Edwards. Normally I see him further at the back, whilst Rossi's doing amazing things in the front of the field with the same bike... hopefully Edwards can show some cool stuff today! Also hoping for Randy de Puniet on the Kawasaki, they seem to be getting better a lot.

I guess Ducati will have less of an advantage powerwise on this circuit, compared to ones with very long straights.

Should mean a nice race as well!

Another great race!

Certainly found Edwards' race very good, I hope this is a taste of what's to come for the rest of the season.

Kawasaki, Suzuki both doing extremely well, both even finishing before the first Honda of Pedrosa!

Too bad about Anthony West' crash, but he certainly did a nice job of not hitting the walls and returning on the track :)

pity Edwards couldnt hang on for the win, i think he'll be on his way from Yamaha next year anyway.

Gossip seems to say there'll more than likely be a patch of Lorenzo Land opposite Rossi in the Yamaha garage next year.

Was it just me, or was Moody and Ryder's vocabulary somewhat limited this weekend? I lost track of the ammount of times somebody got "marmalised" :)
