Dudley
Well that's Rossi out of the championship https://www.motorsport.com/motogp/news/rossi-hospitalised-after-motocross-crash-947520/

McFly
That was my thought when i saw this, that hes possibley retiring now. Sad way to go, which is what will hopefully make him stay another year.
Stigweard
Shitty way for him to go out if it does end his GP career. If he does carry on next season though, he needs to stop doing other things during the season. Pretty sure he's injured himself before doing Motocross hasn't he? kiroquai
I seem to recall he knocked himself about earlier this year as well. A shame, but you're going to really struggle to get the guy away from stuff like that; it's what he loves, and he commands such a reputation that I doubt any manufacturer would be able to enforce it anyway. Hope he comes back - he still seemed to have a season or two in the tank from his performances this year.
McFly
Enduro i think it was which is apparently the best way to train for riding GPs as its so physically demanding and gives you great feel for grip what the bikes are doing underneath you. Marquez and Garry McCoy are/were so wild but tottally in control because they did MX, flat track etc https://youtu.be/YwSIX0lNSVo
marsh
I think it's become part of what he does to keep sharp, lose that and he'd struggle like hell to be at the pointy end of the grid imo. At his age now that could well be the end, regardless of how well he can recover.

McFly
Meant to post about how great the GP was last week. Id love Dovi to win a title sunce he's been with Ducati since day one iirc and it was pretty crap for most of that time. Nothing against Marquez just be nice for Andrea. McFly
Jorge is gonna get stick for not letting Dovi past but if he was going fast enough to catch the top 3 he wouldve passed regardless. Marquez saving his crash was superhuman. Incredible.
Stigweard
Jorge just returning the favour for when Marquez did it to Rossi. Regardless of his ability I find myself unable to like Marquez, don't know what it is, I'm just not a fan.

I think the crash proves they were trying.

Yeah, I don't know what it is, but I don't think I will ever be a fan of his either and haven't been since his Moto 2 days

kiroquai
Exciting race, but the event as a whole was a joke. It’s easy to see given some of the decision-making this weekend why Marquez thinks he can do whatever the hell he likes. They need to go away from this race and have a long, hard think about what messages their stewarding is sending at times. i mean... ... the start showed this off perfectly. Forgetting the pit lane nonsense, the fact he single-handily delayed the start by faffing around with his stalled bike, including riding the wrong way down the grid once he got it started... ugh. For too long now he’s been made to feel like he’s the prince of his own little kingdom. That needs to stop before he hurts someone.
