Moto GP 2019 Season

Cancelling the one GP Marquez might not win is not going to help this season' excitement level.

Yesterday Austin was postponed until later in the year and Argentina would be the opener, now that's been postponed      until the end of the season. So Jerez May 3rd is the opener, which might be optimistic.

At the moment it means the season finishes a week later and with six races in seven weeks.

MCN are reporting there could be no Moto GP this year. Might be scaremongering but who knows....

I don't know why they can't just race with no crowd. My brother has cancelled his Rome birthday holiday and has tickets for the Mugello race (as does my dad) to potentially see Rossi one last time. They were gonna ride down.

It's not to do with the crowd, it's the hundreds of people behind the scenes travelling to each country. The Moto2 and 3 races only went ahead this weekend as they were already there (in Qatar).

As i understand it.

I mentioned it elsewhere but to have a championship they have to run 13 races.

But they do not need to be on 13 separate circuits or 13 separate days.

What I'm saying is

13 1 lap races at Valencia.  Starting every 10 minutes.
