Having played Wipetout Pure a lot more over the last day, I'm getting very concerned about the nubbin. It's just SO difficult to accurately pull it left when your left thumb is at a 2 o'clock position, and bending your thumb to hold it vertically over the nub makes it hurt more. It really is in a crap position. So you end up just doing pretty much the same on/off as the D pad. Pushing right isn't so bad.

Actually perhaps with a game where you don't need to be anywhere near the L button you can have your thumb at a "closer to 12 o'clock angle"...

I shall experiment with WO Pure on single airbrake mode... stay tuned boredom fans...

Lumines is essential. Every PSP owner should have it(or at least give it a go) IMO. The only complaint I have with it is that it isn't a great handheld game. Beating top scores can take an hour or more on challenge mode. The other modes are alright but nowhere near as addictive as the challenge mode IMO.

Shows what I know. Just recieved the shipping confirmation from vg+:(

So with Ridge racer, wipeout, lumines and untold legends (still to get this, hopefully at the weekend!) I now have a nice little library of psp games. I also have a not so nice credit card statement awaiting at the end of the month, but what the hell ;)

I suppose you could say that, but to be honest I think it does a great disservice to Lumines. It's kind of hard to explain really, you have to experience it first hand.

Some people have been saying it is better than Tetris(which I never really got on with) and I'd probably agree. Given some of the games out on the PSP it'd be a crime not to try it out. Now I'm not saying that the current PSP games are shite, just that Lumines is definitely one of the better ones out there. It's certainly my favourite PSP game(I also have the excellent Ridge Racers and Wipeout Pure).

Mine's shipped too. Nothing on dhl.ca against the order number yet though. Bah. Still, Lumines shall keep me sated until it arrives and I get to chew the nubbin off my PSP in an act of furious justice
