Daniel Kitson would made a fantastic Doctor Who. But I'd also like to see a return to an older Doctor, so maybe someone like Anthony Edwards if he could do a convincing British accent. Actually didn't he play Brains in Thunderbirds?

Somebody posted (at some point in these 1460 pages) a youtube clip of an olde Doctor Who clip were he is slowly being chased through a village with very small rooms and possibly thatched roofs. If anybody knows what I'm on about could they please post the clip again, pretty please! It was incredibly eerie.

But it is NOWHERE near some of the RTD-awful episodes.

Is "it could have been more shit than it was" really much of a defence though? It ended up being a lot better than I was expecting from the opening few minutes of awful CGI hot air balloon cars and whatnot but it was still very messy.

The show is pretty much a guilty pleasure for me now. I'll admit to watching and enjoying it on its own terms but I don't think I could recommend it to anyone.
