A lot of people seem to have heard that the chrimbo special has been filmed with tennant in but need some evidence! Hand.

There was a pic in The Sun of him strolling around a graveyard in his Doctor coat a while back which is supposedly from the Christmas special.

That was good.

Torchwood bloke watching Paul O'Grady while the world was about to end was completely shit. So were the dodgy effects when the TARDIS was approaching Earth towards the end. Apart from that, good stuff.

Can't say I trust ex-PM Jones, though, especially when the Daleks were panicking a bit about the Doctor coming to get them and Davros said something like "All the pieces are falling into place." They're in cahoots!

I don't know how they're going to save the Torchwood folk and Sarah Jane Smith without a massive reset, unless they're captured and held hostage.

The question is - do we all have the will power to resit spoilers/trailers etc?

I nearly forgot....DID THE KILL SARAH JANE?

If you've just watched the thrilling cliff-hanger to The Stolen Earth, you're probably wondering how we could possibly wrap things up in just one more regular episode.

The answer is - we can't. That's why next week's, episode, Journey's End, will run for an amazing 65 minutes! That's almost 50 per cent longer than a regular episode, and even longer than the first two Christmas Specials.

Make sure you're glued to your TV at the slightly earlier time of 6.40pm on Saturday 5th July so you don't miss a moment of epic action.

If you can't wait that long, however, tune in to BBC One tomorrow just before 1pm to see a bonus trailer for the episode. We'll have it online here at the Official Site straight afterwards too.

I don't think it will be a real regeneration, but I really hope it is. Just because it would be the most extraordinarily well-kept secret and a massive shock to everyone. As others have said, anything else at this point is going to be a little bit of a cop-out.

Still, a great GREAT episode there. Davros just dripped malevolence.

Actually, I'll be disappointed if it's just a regeneration rather than something truly mad.

Two things:

Didn't that woman say donna was different now or something?

Didn't Donna hear drums? (not likely though)

However, I loved that ending. All in all I enjoyed the episode, I hope all the annoying fuckers from the spin offs get whacked.

Why is everyone banging on about the hand? So they included a shot of his hand - so what? I don't get it.

When he lost his hand it regenerated but the old one was still there. The implication is that if he regenerates then something could happen to the hand as it belonged to an old Doctor. Seeing as he regenerates as a whole body what happens to the hand?

I predict that the big regeneration glow clears and its just Tennant stood there, and then he spouts some nonsense that if a timelord regenerates just as he was super happy at seeing someone from another dimension again then he can stay as he is

Imagine how awesome it would be if

he came back as a can of tripe

Now that I can accept.

Was the sonic screwdriver involved though?

My favourite thing about the episode, I think. The Daleks have been overexposed and in their battle armour and whatnot I find them a bit boring now, but the insane Caan was great.

The prop guy working his tentacles needs stabbing, though. Worst tentacle performance ever.

I thought the Dawkins cameo was good fun. Shame he didn't mention his wife.

Someone remind me who Caan was in a previous episode?

The last Dalek, who escaped by timejumping away at the end of the Manhatten story.

edit: curse your bones Rudi von Whatever...

Hmm, I thought that was a bit of a mess, with a few good bits, and an amazing ending. But the kids haven't watched it yet, and I fully expect them to consider it the best thing ever.

Who'll give me odds on the 11th Doctor smiling at us from the cover of the Radio Times on Tuesday?
