Doctor Who

that terrible 'To Be Continued')

That was indeed ridiculously over the top.

The episode was exceedingly fast paced and I am getting a little tired of the Daleks now, but I still found it pretty enjoyable.

Also liked how the headquarters of the Shadow Proclamation looked like some kind of trendy inner-city flat

Amazing scenes. For those who were worried about it being a mess with a million companions all over the place, I'd like to think that everybody would be happy with that episode. Davros was *fantastic* - such malice! Can you imagine being a kid and seeing him for the first time ever?!

Davros was excellent, yes.

I don't know about being a kid and seeing him for the first time ever, but as someone who never watched old Who, I think he's great.

That hand is blatantly involved somehow.

If he doesn't totally regenerate, I'm inclined to agree - the fact that they focused on the hand in a shot when Donna and The Doctor ran into the Tardis says that it's going to be involved somehow in the final episode...

edit: This sounds really odd, but I can't wait to talk about tonight's episode with the kids in my class on Monday. They're going to have fucking loved it.

Anyway, besides all that, fucking great episode. Tense as buggery and it didn't feel cramped with too many people in my opinion. Good to see Capt Jack again as well. MORE than ready for next weekend's episode.

Remember your bird with the white hair that gave Donna the water in the Shadow Proclomation place? She said something was on Donna's back. I reckon its still some kind of alternative time line and Donna will sacrafice herself and reset the timeline and

Tennant will still be the Doctor

. Just you wait and see.

And there's that key that Michael Brandon gave to Martha, now what's that all about?

Deus Ex Machina.

Also...can someone explain to me why a Medical Doctor would be in charge of a teleportation device project?

Question 2 - I want to watch the Dalek/Valiant battle again...how long till it's up on iplayer?

Even then we still get an episode with someone else as the Doc!

Great ep.

I reckon

the Doctor regenerates into someone else next week, but given that Donna is somehow 'special,' she will die but alter the timeline back - leading to the return of Tennant. And Rose being stuck on the other side of the rift.

I don't think it will be a real regeneration, but I really hope it is. Just because it would be the most extraordinarily well-kept secret and a massive shock to everyone. As others have said, anything else at this point is going to be a little bit of a cop-out.

Still, a great GREAT episode there. Davros just dripped malevolence.

My favourite thing about the episode, I think. The Daleks have been overexposed and in their battle armour and whatnot I find them a bit boring now, but the insane Caan was great.

I loved all his crazy burbling, I couldn't hear half of it but it was ace.

Also Davros was totally flawlessly handled. Even the prosthetics were pretty good.

Yeah, I thought Davros was great. But that might be because I spent the afternoon watching Destiny of the Daleks.
