Finally saw that first clip with sound. Feck me Elizabeth Sladen can emote terror well...

Another clip...this week of Journey's End (2 weeks time)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTHXK3u_npU

That Blue Peter clip contains a reference back to...

Sound of the drums. The Master spoke of the Cruciform/Crucible - will we see the Medusa Cascade (mentioned several times this season and in SotD) too?

I thought was a cracking episode. I absolutely love it when you see events that have already happened viewed from a diffrerent or skewed perspective.

There was a really jarring bit of dialogue though. When the Italian man welcomed Donna's family to their new house he started talking about loads of families living in the same house- mums, dads, grandparents, sons, daughters. The implications was clear - these families were heterosexual. Did RTD have to shove it in my face? He could have just said 'There are lots of people here'.

Really spoiled the ep for me.

Episode 1 of SJA done (well the pilot about the pop drink)

Alan is hot

Maria is very annoying.

I'm not sure I like the way SJ has all these tools/gadgets. I'd heard about the sonic lipstick, but the watch and Mr Smith was a bit much

Another Stolen Earth preview (Spoilers)

EXTERMINATE!

No sound at work

That clip would be so much cooler if the Daleks hadn't already tried to invade Earth no less than three times already. And every time the Doctor has stopped them in a banal easy fashion.

EDIT: And why does nobody in Torchwood seem to know who they are since less than two years ago there were about a million of them flying about London?

Oh he's stopped them, but that doesn't mean your individual chance of survival is very high, I mean at the end of the first series they bombed the crap out of the Earth.

Anyway, is that a Dalek commander in the trailer? Nice to see red and gold Daleks making an appearance.

I thought that as well - since they refered to having to move to Cardiff after Canaray Wharf was destroyed. Having said that, it was Gwen, who quite possibly has never heard or seen a Dalek.

The pilot is just a taster really - it gets better  Plus I can't really recall the sonic lipstick being used that much (though Mr Smith does play a pretty major part......).

That exterminate clip has got me all excited.

Me too I actually got goosebumps when the remnants of Torchwood heard the voice, and Jack actually looked scared. Barrowman in first appearance of acting ability since Empty Child/ Doctor Dances

I've got a bad feeling about these two episodes. I don't like or understand why literally everyone is going to be in it, and I've had my fill of Daleks in the new Who anyway.

Davros had better be good, and they'd better come up with a good explanation of how he managed to come back as well.

"Gods do not die"?

Another parallel fucking universe, obviously.

Given the claw, this is Davros that met Six...

The last time I remember seeing Davros was at the end of Remembrance were he was above Skaro as it was destroyed by HoO wielded by Seven...(I think)...but we only saw ship blow up...not him die..

Caan (that's the last Dalek from New York right?) using time travel could have popped in and saved in.

At a guess, they're all in there because of this. At least partly.

I don't have high hopes either. None of the big two-part finales have been any good. It seems people have started rating Parting of the Ways now but I remember thinking it was pretty poor at the time, what with the Big Brother / Trinny & Susannah crap and the hopeless "epic" battle with about 12 extras. Yet again we'll have a fight to save the world from an indestructible menace played out on News 24, CNN and the streets of Cardiff, and yet again there'll be a pat ending and a big red reset button.

At least Sarah Jane's in it this time.

At the end of Remembrance his escape pod had launched before the ship was destroyed, and the ship was above Earth I think, the hand was sent off to Skaro, blew up the star, and returned to Gallifrey via the Dlaek ship.

Given the Dalek civil wars do we even know if Davros was involved in the time war? It seems entirely conceivable (given there was a Dalek emperor) that he was either imprisoned or off hiding somewhere waiting for his chance.

It's never been mentioned. Wasn't Davros hiding as the emperor last time?

Parting of the ways was a rubbish in parts but mostly redeemed by the regeneration scene.

"You were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And you know what..... so was I!"

It's really a shame we didn't get more of Christopher Eccleston:
