Back into the swing of the books, forced myself to get through Placebo Effect. I think what bugged me most was its dismal attempts to reference 20th century events at every turn, plus the scenes with Sam and Kyle read like one of those terrible patronising books we got forced to read in RE.

What a great monster! They've managed to really pull it off, even as a purely-CGI thing.

Really nice lab. They must've gone into Cardiff uni or something to do that.

Reversing the polarity. Nice.

It's amazing how much they can do with just sound effects.
