I think the fact the new companion's black makes this teaser a seem a little bit like 'Uh oh. Look who's moved in next door...' in a seventies Love Thy Neighbour style, which I'm a bit uncomfortable with, although I might be being oversensitive there.

That's absolutely incredible.

The teaser makes it look more like "the Doctor's world meets Martha's world", if you know what I mean.

"Collide" suggests they might not get on too well, at least initially. And it must be said that she does look mighty stroppy in pretty much all of the shots I've seen of her so far.

perhaps they will bring back the mondasian cybermen.....oh I hope I hope I hope....

If they did, I imagine they'd use the same/similar costume as the series two Cybermen, explaining it away as Mondasian Cybermen scavenging stuff left over from "Doomsday". Fuck it, if Weaksauce Wossname can sneak his girlfriend out of a warzone and into a basement in Cardiff, I'm sure a bunch of fist waving cyborgs in silver flight suits can do better.

I must've missed that unless my memory is letting me down. How did we arrive at Rhino aliens? I didn't see anything other than helmets and they looked like an updated helmet of an old enemy.

You do realise Who's budget is about the same as Waking the Dead dont you.

Any thing it manages to do with its shit budget is very impressive IMO.

I think that Who should be treated separately from other BBC show and every penny its merchandise makes should be reinvested into its production budget.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it had a huge budget? One episode of Who certainly costs a lot more than an episode of BSG anyway. The difference is that that show doesn't have to create and animate new CGI models for every single episode, and then make them look right on earthbound locations. The Mill have been getting better and better though.

I watched my recording of the same last night, I hadn't heard the date before that.
