Pretty good episode overall. Bit of a cop out with Rose not dying but the ending was well scripted enough to cope. I guess these does away with all the Davro's theorys too. The Genesis Ark wasnt anything special

Yeah, the piece of music when the portal (or whatever you call it) closed was wonderful. Lost it's magic a bit when they proceeded to use it for the next three minutes but still...

Really enjoyed that. I still think Davies writes amazing second acts and is a bit weaker at first and thirds, but he writes a great dalek, and I think they're actually the 'best' baddies they've ever been. The cybermen have always been a bit bland if you ask me and the new series hasn't invigorated them the same way as the daleks have been... My two cents.

Catherine Tate was a suprise - should imagine she'll give the doctor a run for his money!

Bah, I thought it was pretty good up to that point despite being pretty predictable and a bit saccharine. The only bit that could have made that last bit alright was if the Doctor had said "WTF" constantly. Or not.

That was aces. The Dalek-Cybermen banter was spot on. The Daleks were just taking the piss with the Cybermen. The Genesis Ark being a Time Lord prison! And the end of Rose.

I'm not worried about Catherine Tate appearing in the Christmas episode (even though she's rubbish). She's not going to be the new companion, so that's that.
