Doctor Who

Not sure about the contents, but the cover certainly is, well sort of...

Spoiler from the Doctor Who Adventures comic...

It has a picture of Cybermen wielding big, Aliens-esque firearms.

Bought it today anyway. The Billie Piper article just discusses her career and background, rather than anything Who related, and the piece about saturday's episode in the listings doesn't give away anything that isn't common knowledge.

Farkin' Hell. I'm a bit behind the times what with the World Cup and everything, so I'm not reading this thread in case of spoilers about my future, but The Impossible Planet was terrifyingly brilliant. I hope my five year old niece wasn't watching.

I enjoyed it. It's set it up for the final ep nicely.

I dunno though, how many series are they going to do?

It seems like they're going to have to outdo the last finale with each successive finale.

"The World is at stake!"

"The Universe is at stake!"

"Every single dimension is at stake!"

Where do they go from there?

Not Amazing.

Not even Good.

The End

Then fuck off out of the thread, Stu.

For me - woah.

Amazing. Liked it even before the Daleks appeared and then, woah. Just the tonic I needed after the football. Next week's has the potentially to be some of the best ever Who.

The End

Dead inside and possibly final proof that this forum no longer has a place for Disco stu. :)

Anyway amazing scenes, so much better than the Rise and Age.

Tricksy bastard cyberman and then a final reveal that was worth S2 existing.

Loved Jackie's line about "well peggy started hearing noises in the cellar"

Finally next week we get the Who battle we've always wanted Daleks Vs Cybes.

5/5 from me.

It lasted a fair while last time arround. :)

On a related note, I was having a whale of a time re-arranging a sunglasses stand at my part-time job earlier, when a couple of kids turned up with their parents. They then proceeded to say "I am a Daaalek!" to each other repeatedly, in the voice. Then one of them changed his mind, "actually I'm the black Dalek, the baddest of all Daleks!".

Kids rule. :)

I'm really impressed they kept the Daleks under wraps this year.

The episode was totally predictable though. Torchwood was underplayed the entire series - they should have introduced them earlier. Definitely not without it's faults - it suffered from the same pacing as the Cybermen episodes from earlier in the year.

Also, where's Captain Jack?
