Last Thursdays I got a Freeview box that's got a HDD for recording. I've played around with it and recorded loads of stuff, it being a new gadget. Doctor Who is the ONLY program that has started at the right time.

I could probably set it up to do ten minutes before and after, to get all of what I want to watch. It's nice to see that the really important one doesn't need that.

I reckon it's importance leads it to being started at the right time. It was bang on the second.

Finally got around to watching L&M tonight. Bravura stuff, I really loved it.

And I thought it was going to be terrible.

One of the best episodes of the new series so far, suprisingly.

I thought that was pretty reasonable. The start, with the Tardis gag and the Doctor/Rose's dialogue was great, but it was a bit weak towards the end.

Next week is going to be AWESOME though.

I'm really bored of this series. I mean, I thought it was meant to be "bigger and better" than series 1? Most of the episodes have had endings explained away in utter madness. I mean, what the hell was this episode all about? A bit love-in, basically. Snoresville!

Next episode looks great though.

I thought that was fucking ace, and I've really not been impressed with most of this series so far. It's weird - I always seem to like the episodes everyone else thinks are shit, and vice versa - I quite enjoyed The Idiot's Lantern and thought that last one was great, but thought the Satan Pit two-parter and the Cyberman episodes were unmitigated shite.

Those were Cygnus cybermen, but didn't the Dr say in the episode where they crossed over that the timelords used to pass back and forth between dimensions all the time, but since they all died it became impossible. So how are the cygnus cybermen there?
