Doctor Who

I watched Kill The Moon a few days ago, and I feel the same now as I did first time around. The build up is pretty good and it's quite unnerving at points, but too much about it is just daft, in a way that comes across as simply lazy. It's still a lot better than In The Forest of the Night though, and it was followed by the rather excellent Mummy of the Orient Express.

Not sure. Liked bits of it, hated others. Some of the characters were completely Flanderised/Exaggerated. Super Awesome Clara grates as always.

Hate this "new" secret origin meeting that Davros (no explanation, even passing given to his survival of end of time) has just remembed.

Really dislike stories when there's obviously going to be some sort of undo/reset - robs it of tension. Hated the whole "cuts of news stations from across the world to advance plot" as well.

Should have loved it but couldn't get passed a couple of the sticking points.

Bit hard to judge considering it's a two-parter. Not only that but this one was mainly set-up with some of the shots teased in the trailers from next week's episode. Still, good opener and it's lovely to see Davros again after The End of Time.

I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10 for now, with Gomez and Capaldi giving the best moments. (come on, how can you not love the Doctor and his trusty guitar).

I hadn't laughed so much at Doctor Who in a while (the concert bit). Excellent.

Strong opener in my view, but I do wish they'd stop doing arcs that focus on THE DOCTORS DYING!11!!!!, THIS TIME ITS HIS WILL!!, after the 50th anni and it just feels over done. Only Eccelstone managed it without too much fanfare. Every regeneration since has had to do a whole song and dance over multiple arcs or stories about hes dead or dying and blah blah. Guys, we know he has a new set of regenerations now, stop it!

Saving young Davros is a strong idea, I'd imagine Doc will teach him amazing stuff next week only to get memory wiped by the end. Very predictable which as said, removes some of the tension for next week. We've had Doc avoid his own death by making a robot of himself, I doubt Moffat is done making up complete bollocks just yet.

Master was great in her crazy way and stuff.
