What's bizarre is that they were hyping up the ep as a highlight of the series. Blimey I still can't get over how much of a missed opportunity it all was. Possibly the best showing of Capaldi (after last weeks high point) but... Yowser. That was utter bilge.

It's like some terrible RTD episode from around Season 2/3 fell through the time vortex. Whole thing feels like you tuned into CBBC by mistake. Check. Massive civilisation altering event that will never be mentioned again. Check. Reset button ending. Check. Unconvincing news reports to show WHAT A BIG DEAL it is. Check. Murray Gold at his tweedly-deedly-dee worst. Check. The awful child actors were the corn cherry on the shit cake. Actually I think I'm being too kind to it, 10 minutes after watching my gut feeling is it made Fear Her look like fucking Aliens.

I didn't hate it but it was nearly a return to "a very public Doctor" from Tennant era. Didn't like how all the alien invasions and stuff happened in public and the whole world knew about it.

Much prefer "secret" events.

I didn't hate it, but it wasn't brilliant, and I wouldn't rush to watch it again. However, my 7yr old daughter loved it.

It was crap, if it's a kids show then show it at 4pm. Give me something better to enjoy in the evening.

Middle of the day in London & the only other people we see are the girls mother/neighbour, the museum security guard & some stupid government workers who want to toast the trees.

Every week I watch this, I always keep wishing for more Torchwood.
