I liked the Doctor and Robin's last conversation. The stuff about legends being real reminded me of this - even though the Doctor's attitude to the possibility that Robin Hood could be real was the exact opposite of what he says in the novel quote:

Oh, alright then. There is a Doctor Who canon.

The Doctor defined it in The Gallifrey Chronicles...

"Sherlock Holmes solved the case before I could, as I recall."

"Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character," Trix pointed out.

I thought todays was absolutely wonderful. Capaldi is really owning this.

I'd read the script already but the actual show was 10x better than I was expecting. Probably the funniest episode too.

It was good to finally see a sense of fun return to Doctor Who. And to Sherwood Forest for that matter. If only the BBC version of Robin Hood from a few years ago hadn't gone for a mopy emo interpretation it might've lasted longer.
