Filmed the rappers first on green screen and used some live footage of Amy and cut her out in After Effects pretty much frame by frame, I wanted it to look pretty rough so that wasnt as hard as it could have been. Then designed some posters using Photoshop/AE and had them printed out, and filmed them being put up. Edited it all together and used After Effects to replace the real posters with fake animated posters where needed.

Something I did in art college today. Drawing of a big length of plastic tubing taped into a loop, charcoal and chalk on ink wash.

Good stuff, I like the grade on the footage - what did you shoot on? Oddly I've done a few videos for Ms Winehouse in the past.

It was filmed on HDV, using a Sony something. I'm not a camera person so cant remember exactly what model... Grading was done mostly by hand tweaking levels and stuff, then I did a second pass with a little magic bullet thrown in.

You must have had a decent cameraman, I normally hate the look of HDDV - magic bullet does work wonders though.

Looks good DangerM. Painting out Winehouse must have been a pain in the arse. Nice effect on the jagged edges though. In fact it would have been cool if they all had the jagged edges but I completely appreciate why they don't!

a bit of work i'm doing, which is actually turning out far better than i had hoped - so much so i think i'll redo it on a larger scale (it's currently running at A4).

i'm really chuffed with the sparks - they began as a throwaway idea, i dumped the photo in Illustrator and did that LiveTrace thing (which i never use because the results are always pish), then spent a few minutes removing all the useless shit. after that it was a case of copy/paste/resize to build them up, then a quick fuck about with the levels. the text is a nonsense and will be changed. and flowers, can't do without my flowers.
