intestine bombs (which take bloody ages to detonate)

Try pulling the left trigger again :(

Anyways got as far as the redneck section and turned it off forever. This game is UTTER GASH. Stubbs moves soooooo slowly, the combat is pish and the level design: pish. It's also NOT FUNNY in the slightest. You can kinda tell that they farmed out different bits, the main game looks wank but the 'hand' bits look awesome, really nice hand model and animation.

I had a play of this last night and was really impressed - previously I thought Spikeout Battlestreet was the poorest game I've played this year, but Stubbs even manages to eclipse that for being utterly, unforgivably shit. I can't see any redeeming qualities to this game at all, it's fucking awful. Waste of bandwidth.

I don't understand how it's getting such decent reviews online, I'd be amazed if it scrapes through with an Edge 3/10. A real disappointment.

I've got about 30 minutes left to transfer this to my XBox, and you guys aren't helping. I can't not play a game that sounds THIS bad though, I just can't.

I mean, that 30 minutes could be spnt playing the suffering: ties that bind, which is actually fantastic.

You do have to play it.

The game has crossed that border of being just shit, to OMG.

Everyone play it, it's that bad you must 8/10

I just want to know where all this fucking 8/10 reviews are coming from.  All the major sites are giving it "mad props" yet it's clearly this year's ultimate stinker.  It makes Driver 3 look like Ico.

8/10

You clearly missed out Stroker, there was a promotion last week from the distributors of 8/10, they were handing them out, all us cool kids were their lapping them up. You can't get in to my spare room now as it's crammed full of the buggers.

Looks like I'm going to be handing these babies out in full force for the next year.

I have never had any interest or intention of buying, renting or even reading about this game, but this thread still manages to depress me :D

Based on the unusually high review scores, it seems the biggest credit must go to whoever did their PR!

Fucking awful. How they managed to go from a fantasic looking (and very humorous) trailer to this pile of unpaced boring shit is beyond me.

WORST. TRAVESTY. EVAR.

I just hope Dead Rising does not make the same journey from good looking trailer to oh my god how the hell did they manage to fuck this up.

each to their own i guess, but im really enjoying stubbs the zombie! i think 7 or 8 is a accurate score for this game. though i could be slightly biased as i love zombie films!  ;)

Loving zombie films doesn't make it any better.

You won't find a bigger fan of the undead than I... *Challenge*

And That's one of the main reasons why I think this game is such a travesty.

If you look back to one of my earlier posts, my issue was that this isn't just any old bad game, it's a bad zombie game, and that's going to do no good for other potential zombie games out there, when we live in a world where publishers sign contracts on proven track records. Poor, shitty selling zombie games, mean no more zombie games, or at least not as many.
