Looks amazing, just finished watching the first part. Love the crow shooting. Although the sheds that Leon visits seems very samey :P I do like that hand gun with the laser sight on it.

Looks stunning though, interested to see how big the game is given the amazing detail of the graphics.

Whats with the gold coins?

You just wait...Yoshi will turn up, and start eating mushrooms.

That's some terrible Spanish voice-acting there from the villagers. They obviously hired American actors to read lines in Spanish - the accent's so thick. <_<

Anyway, I'm sure I'll enjoy the game provided I can stop laughing every time one of the villagers speaks.

Well, that was fucking fantastic. I seriously cannot wait for this now.

I actually started to get all worked up towards the end, sitting on the edge of my seat when the chainsaw people started coming after Leon (Especially when he starts reloading the shotgun as one of them bursts through the door!).

"Where's everyone going...? Bingo?"

I've started playing Resident Evil 2 again today and I've kinda realised that the dialogue has always been hilarious. First one is great, I made a song with samples of the "What is it?", "Blood" part. The second one just set me off with the way people talk about Zombies (probably after seeing Shaun of the Dead), "About a month ago, there was this incident.... involving Zombies" <_< I'm really fired up for this too now, I'm wondering whether I should try and get a copy of Nemesis as it's the only one I've never played and you never know, it might fit into 4's plot somehow.

I think Nemisis was the worst of the first 3 RE games, it was too similar to the 2nd one for my liking, and the Nemisis was a pretty crappy boss, still, it might be worth owning for some of those classic one liners they come out with I agree with you there, it's hilarious.

RE3: Nemesis tied most of the stories together. Wach time you completed it, you were given a different epilogue showing what happened to a different character from the series. The dodging in it sucks though, it was a nice idea, but really badly implemented, you could never rely on it to work. Its worth playing if you like the Resi series.

Hmm, I'd like to get the GC version of Nemesis if I can find it cheap maybe. I still think it's a shame 2 & 3 didn't get proper re-makes as the first one was amazing. The red zombies shat me right up and the woods were the first time that a Resi game had given me a real sense of unease, like "I really don't wanna go down there", rather than just sudden shocks.

Just managed to watch the vids now, it looks kinda relentless, which is cool. I'd also like to play it stealthy tho and not sure whether that'll be an option. And lo and behold, the inventory system has finally been updated to allow you to carry lots of fiddly litte items and not so many big bulky ones. Bout fucken time!

1. I wish I hadn't watched that - a good 13 minutes worth of the game is now known to me, so that bit won't be as exciting to play through the first time.

2. I want this. Now. Even though the movement and aiming looks a bit clunky, it looks like it's going to be aces!

Hmm I'm not really very impressed.

Sure, graphically it looks good, but it just seems a very linear, samey action adventure from those clips (I know the game will probably get better later on).

It just resulted in Leon shooting those people, going into identical hut after identical hut, getting ammo etc, and then shooting more people (bear in mind I've only watched the first video).

Despite the graphics being realistic, it's weird to see massive A buttons coming up screen to help the injured wolf, jump out of window, or to kick a person (the kick looks comical - the people go flying from just a simple kick!).

yeah but truth be told, ive seen most of that already in the trailer so its not a major deal. Im sure thats only a very small part of the game.

You can buy Nemsis, RE2 and CV in GAME for £15 each i think.

Woud is amazing is that the NTSC versions of Nemesis and RE2 sell for over $70 each on ebay USA !!!! I have the NTSC version of Nemesis...

The more advanced graphics get the more video games look ludicrous. The first thing he does (after some terrible dialogue) is start shooting birds from the trees. Later he shoots crates with his laser sight pistol. And his kick seems to have 10 times the power of his gun.

Maybe he was equipped with a gat or potato gun?

Ever think of THAT Mr Game Maker! :)

Erm.. he goes into the first guy's house without knocking. The guy attacks him. I understand that. If some bloke turned up in my house like that I'd attack him. No doubt his neighbours saw it happen too, so they wander over to see what the problem is. Before you know it Leon's killed half the Village.

I feel remorse for the 'bad guys' - they're not really bad, they're just disgruntled at this complete stranger showing up, breaking into their houses and killing them all.

Did I miss something where it establishes these guys as evil? They're just eastern european peasants as far as I can see. Zombies = bad. Everyone knows this. These guys = no idea. They're just hicks. It seems wrong to just kill them needlessly. It doesn't seem to establish any motive for you killing them other than that they're just there. I know it's the plot for the first part of the game, but, like, Leon STARTED it. :o

And why bother with a gun when you can kick like Jean-Claude on steroids?

And why does every crow carry a box of bullets or a bag of money? WTF?!

It looks nice, in a Brown way, and I'm a huge Resi fan, but I'm bitterly bitterly dissapointed with this. I thought it was supposed to be this amazing thing? REmake looked quite a lot better in my opinion. Hell, even Code Veronica made more use of the 3D camera.

Maybe it's just been hyped up too much and I was expecting too much from it... :(
