All of the posted rar files have the same md5 checksum, and the rars

won't open in WinRAR.

For the record, I dont even have a 360, never mind a flashed 360 - I was just curious to see if this was being uploaded!

Serious question here lads, I've asked this in ask the forum but not really got a proper answer...

If I buy a core from a GAME HIGH STREET STORE on my credit card, get it home, remove only the console, plug all my bits from my off to get fixed 360 into it, and keep it for 10 days until mine comes back,, would I get a full cash refund? Or store credit?

Fucking fake, as anth pointed out if you can compress down a 100meg rar into kb then it's junk data.

Should have grabbed a rar before I posted but I was high on the thought of Halo 3 and worried about going over virgin medias cap before 12.00am.

Knobheads using proper groups names again.

Play are now selling the legendary edition for those who want one but have not managed to pre order it yet. They must have recieved confirmation of the allocation they are going to get.

How rare is this thing going to be? I mean do you think I will be able to pick it up on here (or ebay) in a years time? I dont have a 360 at the moment and will not likely get one for another year or so.

To be honest I think this is a proper limited edition, most places are quite reluctant to give firm figures and shopto had to cancel a load of pre orders. This is a one shipment only deal I bet, I think you`ll find it on ebay in a year but may well have to pay through the nose for it.

Halo is going to be rammed up our arses non-stop for the next month. Everywhere you look, master-chief's honey hazed face is going to be gawping at you. Every shelf will be bulging with ripe halo merchandise. Copies of the game will fall like leaves over every vaguely electronical outlet through out the world. The idea that anythig halo 3 related will be in short supply ever is just microsoft infected nonsense. If people will shell out, factories will make. Profit wins.

After reading some of the comments from earlier, I'd just like to say that I actually like Halo's environments, the game's excellent combat mechanics aside.

I don't tolerate them, or put up with them because of the aforementioned excellent gameplay - I really like 'em.

I don't think they are. The hype may be big for a game, but it's nothing in comparison to the big movies. Also, it's nothing to do with respect - it's pure marketing spend from Microsoft.

In the UK, I haven't seen a single advert for Halo 3 on the TV and I haven't seen a single billboard poster for Halo 3.

Took the shiney excitement off H2 when all the sparrows started getting it a month before release.

Maybe this one will be by a few days, or maybe this one, supposed to be hard to yarr, nigh uncopiable.... The Halo 3.

It's also been confirmed by several norwegian newspapers that these are not fake. They've also confirmed that the game has leaked to the net about 8 hours ago at the time I'm writing this.

The internet is going to explode as soon as that iso is easily available.

I've been playing Halo 2 again in preparation on Legendary for some reason, which is probably the wrong way to go about it.

I've discovered new things, such as on the beach when the Covenant are firmly entrenched before the motorway tunnel, I found a little bunker which had a sniper rifle and rockets. Previously I sniped the Jackels and used the Warthog to take out the Ghosts, but rocketing them was far more satisfying. Also, if you persevere, you can get the Scorpion tank over the barricade (in the second tunnel after the loooooooooooong bridge) which makes taking out the tight clusters of Covenent more easier. Initially I tried it the 'proper' way and appreciated the marine who offered me her shotgun saying it was close quarters in there, but after being sniped for the tenth time, I just wanted to punch her in the face.

Other sections were fundamentally broken. Taking out the two Wraiths just prior to the Scarab was ridiculous - I fired four rockets into one of them and it just wouldn't die. If you hop on to one and melee/grenade the driver, nine times out of ten the other Wraith will fire almost immediately and thus you get caught in the blast when trying to get off the damn thing. In the end I drove my Ghost into the previous area (as far into it as I could go) and then back again and mysteriously the remaining Wraith disappeared. Finally for this level, Jackel snipers on the Scarab can fuck right off. I killed the first two waves with the sniper and rockets and then when running alongside the Scarab, I stuck my head out from a pillar and got sniped immediately. Argh.

Delta Halo is only going to increase the rage, but at least this way I'll go into Halo 3 with lower expectations. Heretic boss up next. Oh joy. :(

I think he means the shooters released newly around that time

Halo 2 gave me two years of online joy. The single player is at best a lovely looking well controlled shooter missing the balance of the original. The balance is what made Halo a sublime single player experience.

Like fuck it was leaked to the net. I bet its another piece of hope injected information to TEASE ME
