It's funny, that. I never did that; I merely asked for something.
I've tried to understand this opinion over and over again, but I just can't.

To me, the first game was dull. But hey, I had fuck all for my Xbox back then, so I finished it anyway. The great controls helped a lot, though.

Then the second game came. Which was so fucking boring that I stopped playing after the bit where you see a cutscene with a giant talking plant.

Seriously, WHY do you people love these games so much? Apart from the multiplayer, that is. (Which, imho, is the only reason one should ever buy these games.)

The double standards here are just shocking :)

People really don't talk about Halo enough for an outsider to get any impression of why it's so loved. It's a serious problem on this forum in particular.

Must try harder, everybody! 370 pages isn't enough.

I like the energy shield and the way you are the Chief makes me feel like McClane from Die Hard.

So whats the score with the Legendary edition then? I'm 2nd on the list at my local GS and normally wouldn't worry, but I've heard rumours about a limited edition of 10,000 worldwide and that a lot of stores won't get any at all. Is this true?

What's also funny is how a lot of these Halo-fanboys are known to be agressive cunts and this whole thing just shows that, really. (I'm talking about the guys here, not the game.) In the RE4-thread everytime someone asks something about that game the way I did about Halo, something completely different happens. Something more peaceful.

Why is it that all of these frustrated idiots seem to concentrate around the Halo-threads?

I don't know but I expect you be banned again soon for acting how you always have done, aggressively, abusively, personally and needlessly in your inimitable fanboy way.

veloS, perhaps you should come back when you're able to put together a coherent comparison between GoW and Halo, with specific reference to what works in the former game and doesn't in the latter, citing specific examples. Otherwise, this won't be much of a discussion i.e. it'll be the same as it is now, but longer.

Also, try and be a bit imaginative when you're dissing people. e.g. "you suck at life" is just something you've heard someone else say,and has no specific reference to this situation, and as such is not very effective. See also "yeah, but I had sex with a member of your family in return for money".

Sorry, can you explain why you've just insulted me and then quoted the exact same post again, but with bold text? Are you trying to imply that I was unaware that your last post constituted an opinion? Because, you know, I was kind of aware of that fact already, hence my pointing it out.

Let's try again, shall we? You dismissed my post as being just an opinion, as if it ever claimed to be anything else, and then gave your own opinion. I pointed out that doing that was a bit silly. Either you think people shouldn't post opinions, which would be retarded and hypocritical, or you think that posting opinions is acceptable, in which case you shouldn't have tried to dismiss my post by pointing out that it was an opinion.

Or alternatively: of course subjective comments on internet forums are just opinions. Fucking hell.

that Halo helmet thing is FTL. I'd be embarassed walking out of a shop with it.

I care not about limited editions or making ofs or anything like that - I just want the game. In fact, if they had a cheaper version of the single player only with no multiplayer, I'd happily buy that.
