It doesnt spoil any of the story folks, but does give lots of details about the enemies and new vehicles. So dont be worried about reading this.

Depends what level you play it on. Halo 2's Normal was about eight hours, Heroic, about 30% longer, and Legendary about 30% longer again, just based on how much extra time you have to put into battles.

I finished Halo 2 in one day back when in leaked. In bloody French. People often don't get how long games are until they look at the in-game clock, I find. Thanks to Halo 3's saved films, it'll be very easy to see how long the game lasted on each setting.
