The first, entitled "Museum," depicts a former UNSC Marine reminiscing about a great battle he fought alongside Master Chief -- a battle players will get to experience first-hand in the upcoming action shooter.

I find it hard to believe, but it would be pretty spectacular if true. It sounds like an awesome ad if nothing else, and on top of that, there are the two remaining Neil Blomkamp shorts to look forward to over the next couple of weeks. Exciting times :(

The Marines are in a swampy swamp, they all still have their legs.

I think it's one of the diorama/models in the Museum of Humanity that that old retired marine is looking at and talking about his time fighting alonside the Chief.

Actually, if there's a Musuem of Humanity that obviously means that Earth wins in the end, doesn't it? SPOILERS! :D

The dates above the location name sorta gives the game away too, although who's to say how many people actually survive?

Anyway, I was just thinking about that quote (one of Frankie's I think) about there being more enemies in one of Halo 3's encounters than there are in the entire first level of Halo. So I just played through Pillar of Autumn and there are about 120 enemies, not including the guys you come across before Keyes hands you a pistol :D

Maybe theres a museum coz there are hardly any humans left? There's no need for a museum for things that are in abundance outside right? or maybe it's a museum about the war itself, which is fine (but doesn't quite fit with the title of Museum of Humanity). If there's some ald codger banging on about the old Chief, maybe he's.... :D gone?

Cortana's probably got a job showing visitors round.

Just got an e-mail from shopto saying that they will only be able to satisfy a very small proportion of the Legendary Editions - quelle surprise. Oh well, not sure what I was going to do with a Master Chief helmet anyway. These things are going to go for a fortune on eBay.

Would be interested to hear single player impressions from those of a pirating nature.

I'd be extremely disinterested.

We should really be using the Halo folder because as soon as people do start posting about the single player here lots of people will stop reading the thread and we won't be able to discuss the multi.

For you MP, if the game came out early I would either have a early release impressions thread seperate to this or not post at all. No one should have anything ruined.

That said, in the Bioshock thread, all the numptys that posted spoilers were ones that got the game officially. Stroker and I said fuck all
