Shame I'm off to Ireland the day after it comes out. Will have to ignore any info and settle down to it on the monday.

Well I was concerned with all this 'no Legendary version in the UK' talk and went to check Game's website where I preordered mine and they don't have it up on sale anymore so I gave them a call. The girl I spoke to was pretty adamant that it's not listed now as they have allocated all their stock. We'll see I guess.

As far as the legendary edition goes its still sitting in my gameplay order waiting to be sent out, if its not sent a few days beforehand (as they normally are from gameplay) then I`m going to order myself a limited edition, somehow I dont trust that the legendary ones actually exist in the UK yet.

My anticipation is increasng now, everything about it seems to be falling into place a lot nicer than number 2 and the general feeling is a little bit more relaxed from Bungie. I just hope I`m right and it turns into everything I 'hope' it will be.

Some twelve year-old decides to stream the NDA'd Epsilon over the net live, whilst pimping his website and unwittingly showing his Gamertag by going into the blade to change the music.

Not the brightest fellow, he gets two tags banned live on air, and then creates a third - which is then banned.

I haven't been following the thread, what's the story with the Legendary edition in the UK?

I asked in GAME (in Derry) and they didn't seem to think they'd have any and asked in Gamestop and they said they took 4 preorders but wouldn't take anymore because they didn't have any idea about the allocation.

Is there a chance it won't be out here? Is there a number for units they're making, is it going to be impossible to get?

There was a thread in ask the forum, about the availabilty of the legendary edition. I have one on pre-order from gameplay, and also noticed it was on the site anymore, and when clicking on the item in my pre-orders section, the product didnt exsit. I contacted gameplay via their online thingy:

so according to 'Tonks' It will be available. I remember reading somewhere a UK store had the exclusive on it, I imagine GAME (cant remember where i read this though...)

Gameplay and Game are one company so makes sense if that is the case.

I don't know if that's a direct transcript of your conversation but lines like 'as far as we are aware we will be getting it' do not fill me with any confidence, I'd take that as 'you could possibly be right and you may actually get nothing and we don't haev the common sense or intelligence to put you on an alternative halo pre-order list so when it doesn't turn up you're screwed for a copy till the next batch get delivered just after christmas'

Could you not get him to put you on to someone who can say yes or no?

To be fair though, as well as the qualified statement you quote, he also twice confirms without equivocation:

'we are able to fulfill all pre-orders' and 'it will launch in europe'.

I'd say that's a definite 'yes'.

Yep that was my take on it.

Gameplay are pretty good at shipping stuff early and arriving on the day before, so ill be keeping an eye on the status. The thing I was bothered about was if there not getting it, when was I going to be told (so i could at least go for a spec ed) thats why I asked If I would get a email saying they werent going to stock it.

Anyone got one on pre-order other than GAME/Gameplay?

Yeah. I was thinking of ordering online but i want to be guaranteed the game on the day of release.

And don't know if the Royal Mail can be trusted to get me the game on day 1.

Hopefully there will be plenty of copies around on launch day...
