More evidences, this time from my local Saturn ( Italian-German Hi-tech store)! Pictures taken with my phone!

I could not have clearer images considering the clerks standing there. it's the Limited edition, I have not seen the Legendary nor the normal edition.

Surely it's not in the shops already (as in, inside the shops, not on the shelves)? It's three weeks until it comes out. Games don't hit the stores that soon, do they?

As an aside, does anyone else remember the "'Halo 2' to be released two months early in a surprise launch" rumours from three years ago?

Surely just giving boxes to shops is asking for trouble?

If it's going to be such a huge launch, don't they have to get stock to the retailers in plenty of time?

I really hope it doesn't get released early, I'll have to turn off the internet for a month :)

I could not have one of those in my hands in order to feel the weight and if there is actually something inside, <_< but I suppose they are quite weighty. My only concern is so many copies of the Limited in such a short time and so many days before the release date.

Maybe we are considering these boxes as real but could they be "promotional" items to highlight the incoming release of the game? but why are they wrapped in such translucent paper, as proper limited edition boxes?

I'm trying to read the writings on the boxes, it's Italian and not so clear, I'll give you an answer soon folks.

I have a dual layer blank disk in my hand awaiting its destiny before its true printed father arrives....

I bet it goes up by Monday. And I bet every person that plays it early gets banned on the official release day

I've been thinking about this for several minutes now, and its deeply troubling me.

In fact, I'm going to go as far as to say that those AREN'T copies that are in shops - they are simply just promotional cases.

It is the ONLY explanation for it. MS would not be so MORONIC as to put copies of the game out into the retail channel now, this early, especially after the H2 fiasco.

I cannot accept this - and nobody can tell me any different. Do you hear me? Nobody can tell me any different - I simply refuse to accept that their are copies in shops now, and anyone who tries to tell me otherwise will be ignored.

vlad, do you work in the store? Are they real copies? They can't be, surely. I mean, it went into print this week, so how on Earth would they have got copies to an 'Italian-German' (Swiss?) store already?

But yeah. Anyone know of a modding service?

I'm waiting till I have a HDTV before I play Halo 3. Now the question for me is whether I buy the game on release day or wait for the day I have a HDTV before I buy. <_<

You buy the game and an HDTV on release day. Obviously.

If your going to drop a few hundred quid on a HDTV surely you can stretch for another £40 for a game at the same time?
