That reminds me, the best one ever barged into my brain as I was walking home. I don't know why, I wasn't thinking about Halo sensor puns, but you can't look a gift horse in the mouth:

The previous games have always been reasonably long and fun to play through with a friend, but what happens when you're quite far in the game and the other user quits?

You'll be booted back to the lobby. I think the new issue of Edge revealed that each level would have about five selectable sub-chapters much like Gears of War, so you wouldn't have to replay an entire level should you want to pick up from where you left off.

Edit: It wasn't in Edge, it was in the latest Bungie weekly update. And it was approximately three 'insertion points' per level as opposed to five.

To be fair, I've played through Halo CE twice and Halo 2 once, and I've never used the radar.

If someone were to ask me a week ago if there was a radar in Halo, I'd probably say "no".

To be fair, it's not your job to preview/review games though, is it?

Anyway, this Legendary edition, with helmet and shit. I may have missed it but is it an exclusive somewhere or is it just really really limited because we've had some POS and there's absolutely no mention whatsoever about the Legendary edition.

Personally I couldn't care less, but we keep getting asked and I like to be informed. Or at least give the impression I'm informed. :ph34r:

Gameplay had it down for pre order, which i did, and have now pulled it from the front page. Now this could be because the allocation has fully filled up or, as i suspect, the UK is not getting the legendary edition at all.

I've just checked my account on Gameplay and my pre-order for the legendary edition is still listed under my order history, so I assume it hasn't been cancelled.

From Microsoft's Halo 3 fact sheet:

Price: Legendary Edition $129.99 (estimated retail price (ERP)), Limited Edition $69.99 (ERP), Standard Edition $59.99 (ERP)

ESRB Rating: Rated “M” for Mature

Availability: Worldwide availability starting Sept. 25, 2007

Individually numbered and available while supplies last, the Legendary Edition includes a copy of “Halo 3” in a collectible Spartan Mjolnir Mark VI helmet case.

The Legendary Edition will be available in limited quantities for a limited time at select retailers.

I can't see anything in the press release to indicate that it won't be available in Europe.

I'm not giving in to the legendary edition urge. I've put a stake in the ground and ordered the Collector's from Virgin for £34. Mainly as the bungie podcast said that the electronic content is identical on both the collector's and legendary editions.

Why not just the Jon Sensor Blues Explosion?

Some people just have no sensor right or wrong punnage.

How much longer do we have to wait!!!

PAL Legendary is happening - mine is pre-ordered.

And cost me the nice price of $200 which is the most I have ever paid for a game. But I don't care!! I want the helmet even just to collect dust!!

I want the game!! I WANT IT!!!!
