Not sure I got this right, but it seems that you will be playing as Master Chief, Arbiter and two Elites in four player.

It's happening. Seriously, The arbiter will be part of the story even in single player. Gears of Halo Co-op without a doubt.

Yes it is. But we don't yet know whether the four player online coop involves four individual 360s or just two 360s connected over live, with splitscreen on each one. Bungie will be offering more concrete info later today apparently.
