You can still play if you haven't returned to the dashboard since the beta ended, I was still on the day after it was over - matchmaking didn't work though, customs only.

I'm sure there will be some people out there that are planning on leaving their 360's running until September just so they can keep playing the beta.

Errm If you go to the link and read that comic there, you'll see that in the last page you can scroll two of the pictures and click a few times on one of the pictures to find numbers. Anyone having any interest in figuring out what they mean would have my slightest gratitude.

If the achievements weren't against ranked games they'd be next to pointless as you could just set a custom game up and do them all. They don't seem that tricky regardless. Would have been nice for a bit more imagination though - sticky someone over 30 metres away, snipe someone whilst as a warthog/mongoose passenger etc.

I really, really hope it's the former, and it would make a lot of sense what with Cortana going rampant. I've never played Marathon but the terminals always sounded like a cool idea. I can only hope that Cortana can at least equal the standard set by Durga in ilovebees.

I was listening to the latest EGM Live podcast today in which EGM editor-in-chief Dan Hsu mentioned he was off to visit Bungie this week to have a look at the single player, so hopefully we'll have some news on the campaign in the not-to-distant future.

The thing that (slightly) worries me may be the lack of Cortana. The headset chatter she doled out was a significant part of Halos atmosphere for me.
