SeanR is a massive n00b.

Your MUM'S a massive n00b...

Hey, I even read the onscreen instructions and now understand what all the buttons do in the lobby menu.

I've changed my appearance, and EVERYTHING.

All I have to do now is start hitting things with ma lazors

shoop-da-woop

etc.

We've been playing a custom game with no shields, pistol start ans +10 points for stickies, -2 for dying, -3 assasinations, beat downs and -5 suicides.

Literally amazing scenes.

Just had a good few custom games.

Brilliant!

Even if Footle and Beertiger came up with some pretty odd gametypes.

That speed boost and gravity stuff is pure comedy and not for those who get motion sickness.

Great laugh tho.

Sword has a noticeable shorter lock-on range, which can only be a good thing.

You can choose from a variety of historical accurate beards to wear.

ZOMG they mentioned something about using particle effects for beards in one of the weekly updates. Tell me there're options for a...

*looks up "types of beard" on google*

...neckbeard in there.

Yeah the sword has been considerably nerfed, which is nice. I do like Ninja Flag game though. You just need to be able to score without the flag at home on Valhalla.

I thought there was going to be an Infection style game type? It appears not.

Just had a multiflag game on Snowbound with 300% speed and 50% grav, infinite snipers and brute shots, flag carrier at 200% speed and 50% health, first to 20, 7-a-side.

It was quite literally amazing.

Had some games of Juggernaut Tag with the Electric Twins, Geldra, Atarian, Gingerism and Talvalin last night. Best time i've had since the beta started, it's fun without being stressful (usually stressful cause i'm udder shite). <geordie> A'v fund a new gyeam mode, like </geordie>

Sticktacular is equal parts totally retarded and amazingly fun.

Why thankyou. I can't believe how it all came together with that gametype, with us all set to play Noshi krypt mentioned the sticky bonus (and subsequently I saw all the other bonus's) and I went to work. Then a few tweaks here and there as it evolved, I suggested the Spartan Laser as a joke and YaWdiB seemed to think it was a good idea, genius. We played one game-type for 5 hours in the end with the odd game of Mad Dash thrown in.

Rules:

No Shields

No Radar

No weapons on map

Magnum starting weapon

First to 75

+10 for a Sticky

+10 for a Killing Spree

+3 for killing the leader

+1 for a Kill

+1 for a Headshot

-2 for a Death

-3 for a Beatdown (if you beat someone down, not if you get beatdown)

-3 for an Assassination (if you assassinate someone, not if you get assassinated)

-5 for a Suicide

-10 for a Splatter

Leader has Spartan Laser

Leader has Infinite Ammo

Leader cannot pick up weapons (including grenades)

Leader just having the SL and being unable to pick up anything keeps the game closer as it's tough to keep scoring once you're the leader (except for sprees). Mainly works on Snowbound but we tried it on High Ground and whilst it becomes more like original Noshi it still works.

I like how you were sceptical about the bonuses but when you saw them... oh my

I didn't mind Kerraig killing me cos he'd instinctively use a melee and lose more points for that than I did for dying. He always realised 1 second too late :(

WOW, that sounds really good. ;)

Any ideas how you could recreate an instagib ala Unreal Tourney, i can't think of an appropriate weapon to replace the fire rate of the shock rifle, unless of course you can mess with the Spartan Lasers charge time.

Carbines only, instant kill damage?
