It takes ages for my 360 to find a new game. It's getting pretty annoying to be honest. I think it's probably one of the things they'll notice and iron out post the Beta.

I've also had freeze-ups for the first time ever, particularly post game and when I try and look at my friends list. Sometimes it clears after about 2 minutes. I think that running through Crackdown causes part of the problem - it all seems a bit unstable.

I'm hoping its this as its never hanged when I'm actually playing, just in the lobby, on the black loading screen and while searching for games. Can be annoying when youve waited to find a game for ages then it freezes before the match :P^_^

As i'm playing in Australia I'm discovering that when the US comes online my lag gets worse but seems to be fine when the US aint online. PLaying against people from UK and Aus etc I don't get much lag but it goes tits up sometimes when the number get high.

Dual Spikers are rediculously over powered and totally underused.

If you're not confident with your aim, never, ever use the sniper rifle.

The shotgun is nice, but only deadly at point blank range.

Battle rifle is nice if someone is a long distance away and has no shield (never).

The normal Halo: CE rifle is still the best short to medium range weapon.

If your aim is (like mine) not good enough to aim for the head, use weapons with big clips and a fast fire rate and just shoot at the torso.

On another note. Why OH why!? Did someone ever include Team Rockets and Sniper / Shotties in ranked matches.

I hate Shotty Snipers unless I'm on Snowbound in which case I live in the tunnels with a shotgun - life is so much sweeter then.

Now i'm having problems inviting people to games. Anyone know who you do this???

People in my friends list - if I click invite to game while matchmaking it doesn't seem to work ^_^

You can only invite people to your party (and they can only join) if you're in the lobby. It would be better if you could send invites whenever and they'd just have to wait in the lobby until the game is over but it's not that big a deal I don't think.

I'm really struggtling to get to grips with Crazy King on Snowbound. If you come up against any semi-organised group then they just completely own us.

I think it's always good on Snowbound to have at least one person on your base's roof with a BR or a covie carbine (my favourite weapon) so that you can own that middle area between the bases. Anyone else got any other tips?

Where does the laser and sniper spawn on this level btw?

I can see the acheivements for this now:

CompleteHalo 3 on Legendary - 10g

Play 10000000 Ranked Matches - 490g

Earn Every Medal - 500g

^_^ Preacher was saying that the achievements are all single player. I don't believe that but I really hope it's not things like:

"Sticky 100 people in matchmaking"

Any achievements that force you to play ranked games is just wrong.

Sure it may show you on the map the general direction but it is silly.

Bungie should make the announcer a little clearer in what he's trying to say.

Instead of "VIP killed" should be more along the lines of

"Your VIP killed"

"Killed their VIP"

same with 2 flag CTF

or am I being dense?

It's easier if you change your armour to certain colours, as this causes the hill to change colour too. Orange seems good for visibility. I play in white, which is very bad indeed.

They'll change it, anyway.

Make it a bit more tactical, no? Rather than you all camping in the hill, it forces at least two of your team to wonder out the hill and take your opponents down before they get close. Otherwise it just becomes an insane grenade fest.

"VIP lost" for your VIp dying maybe?
