New Sega Rally Title

Didnt really like the PC version.

And the memories of the Saturn version are just playing a lot in a shit shop I used to work in - waiting for customers who never turned up.

See I don't get that. The Saturn version was an abomination. The PC version was better FFS!

As for SR on PS2 - Yay! :D

Take that back :D, the Saturn version was sublime. One of the best racers of its generation.

no. the PC version was identical apart from the extra 640x480 option.

the Saturn version still stands as the finest arcade racing game ever to hit a console.

Which made a massive difference, the Saturn version ran at half that and looked horrid. The frame rate also appears far better (or at least smoother) on the PC, even on release in '95/'96.

I've run the PC version on 3 PCs - first 450MHz PII, then 1.5GHz P4, then Athlon 3600. none achieve so much as a locked 30fps, which is what the Saturn version does, thanks to a lack of 3D hardware support of any kind. 320x240 on a TV looks a LOT nicer than 640x480 on a monitor anyway.

I doubt you'll get much sympathy round here dissing Saturn SR, btw :)
