just come back from another big stint, must say this is the best RPG i have ever played, just got to some snowy level not sure how far i have got into the game but there is just so much to do.

Anybody know where the treasure using clues is ? i have all the clues now but still cant find it.

Haha, just completed the game. Not bad at all!

The insult command is the funniest thing EVER. Shit! Team that up with the middle finger. OI! And then with the pelvic thrust. C'MON! Fucking BRILLIANT!

Well I have absolutely no qualms about having a pirated copy (anyone that says that stupid "Yarr'd" bullshit deserves to break both their legs and their head to fall off)

I'll tell you why too, because I had this much interest in the game before I'd played it.... NONE.

And now I'm going to buy a copy on October 8th, so hey.

Piracy sells games kids.

It really is a bit good isn't it? It seems the Molyneux-hate-brigade has to eat their words, as this game is a marvel to play. I'm too early in to give it a final judgement, but so far it kicks almost every other actionRPG I've ever played quite squarely in the nuts.

I love the way the main character moves- it's very Mario 64 in the way he leans over when you turn, and he's such a pleasure to control. I've played it for about an hour and a half now and have just

defeated some big wasp thing at a picnic place.

I'm really enjoying it so far! Much better than the incredibly disappointing Sudeki. I don't understand the complaints about the voice acting- I'm finding it very good so far, and certainly a lot better than in most games. I think I will leave it now until my copy arrived from Play though.

Ok. Completed it. Took me 7.5 hours with alot of side quest.

I just want to say one thing (without reading from my last post + a couple of reply's ;

At the end you can choose if you want to be the hero of the bitch. It doesn't matter how you played. If you played Evil all the time you can still end the game as a hero. How stupid is that?

I wanted that the ending would be like the way "you played the game". But no, you get a silly option to choose. How lame is that? It doesn't matter how you played the game, neh, it's which option you choose. So Fable all depends on 1 click. Wow, great...

Well, atleast it's better then Subrrdeki.

Things i like ;

Halo thingy.

Beer drinking.

Everyone falling in love with me.

Having a bald head when i'm captured and bitchslapped in the prison. One year later i have hair and a beard. But that strange, in the whole time i played i never ever got a beard but when i'm locked for 1 year i have it.. hmm.. Crap.

etc.

Things i miss :

Whoa, no animals in the world. No dogs, no horses, no birds (didn't see them) only wolves. Wow, this world lives! *kuch* Oh wait, there are 5 chickens.

Freedom.

Big open area's.

Difficult quests/enemy's/being slapped to death (never died).

Big quests.

etc etc etc. This list is huge.

Atleast i got to fuck the mayor after the big quest. That's another good thing, i guess.

No. Fable isn't superb. It's just another "normal" game. You love it or you hate it.

Oh yes, why does the game save when i load a game? Stupid!

go back to orchard farms and look in between the bales and the front wall of the first barn that you come to. You will need to dig

Bit of a shit treasure though imo

Okay, so I'm starting to warm to this now.

It sort of reminds me of something like DOAXBV, in that I'm getting a lot of satisfaction from the superfluous/extraneous details, like the wife stuff, home-owning, trophies etc. which offsets the bad bits. And some of the spells make the combat more bearable (especially the time-slow spell, which alleviates the atrocious targeting system). But it still gives me proper rage in other places. I still think the combat's fairly broken, due to the poor targeting and civilians who seem to have a pathological desire to get hit, and the voice-acting is still annoying (why is Maze's emphasis on all the wrong words? And is a Babel-like range of accents so important to the game that you have to employ people to imitate them badly? Why not just design a world which is inhabited by people with the same regional accents as the voice-actors who are going to play them?). I actually don't think it's all that pretty-looking, particularly the bits where character models wade through tangible objects (like the guard who walks *through* the city gate during a *cut-scene*) and don't get me started on the menus (and what is it with the cursor movement on the pairs card game? And the camera angle on the memory game? Totally rubbish).
6 or 7/10.
