First of these I've watched (thanks to Soongs conversion/hosting) and I'm mightily impressed. So impressed that I'm actually at a loss for constructive criticism. The reviews were great as were other bits and bobs. I thought it would be good but not this good. I haven't read this thread but I'll assume someone else has mentioned 'Vids', the only prog that I was reminded of whilst watching. Superb.

this was also the first time I saw it too (again, cheers Soong), and I thought it was ace. I thought the Winning Eleven review was a bit poor, as you did mention the slow down quite a lot and I would've liked to have known more about it. but the Gradius V, Riddick and Michigan reviews were brilliant, and the show in general is very funny. the N64 top 10 was great aswell, I'll be getting the old 64 out again soon I think!

I was quite interested in the concept behind that Michigan game. That version did seem a bit crass, but with a bit of work, you could have a top horror game that didn't constantly rely on jump scares.

The balance between the comedy and reviews was pretty much spot on. Didnt enjoy the reviews as much as usual (save Michigan) but thats probably cause the games don't interest me. A little too much wrestling talk. Gacy's section was much much better, Legend was great as always, and Shingys was a good addition - more of him please.

Most noticable was the flow of the show though - it really went quick and thats probably due to better editing and almost every section had some musical accompiment.

All minor complaints really - it was fucking ace.

Great, great work. As many of the sections are very character/gimmick driven I think it could work for non gamers also, so good luck with Channel 4.

I'd love to see Legend sequences that have gone wrong, maybe in the out-takes?

Just finished watching Consolevania Type 4 (although it's the first episode i've ever watched) and hats off to you guys.

That was fantastic;

Legend - The name says it all, oh yeah and the singing. What a voice!

Shigsy - An inspired piece of horny japanese puppetry

John Gacy's Kiddie Corner - Complete took me by surprise... i mean, what a nice guy!

Anyway this is the type of program which should be available on mainstream TV instead of Gamezille and the other kids aimed games programs.

Great Characters, Interesting and Honest reviews and also quality humour throughout.

Neh, it's fine at around 45 mins I think (or whatever length CV4 is).

The annoying things is that half-hour shows always feel like they go quickly - especially with something good, like Consolvania.

On TV I think an hour slot would be better (if it was available), ie so the show runs about 45 mins.

Another good show. The only possible criticism is the repeated mention of slowdown in the <generic_football_game> review. Mention it once. We'll get it the first time, really.

Great episode. I have a great idea for "tap tap tap". Get two muscle spazzy things and rewire them to maximum output on a button push. Then have races (like that first one up a hill) the opposing team has to prevent the other from wining by pushing the button (the more you push the button the harder it is). Im sure that would be great viewing TV!*

Right, the sound on the reviews on every episode seems a bit muted compared to the sketches and stuff. Try and sort out the volume balance in future.
