Man, this is painful. I don't get a fucking demo because I live in fucking Gibraltar where there are no fucking GAME stores. And no, I don't have my fucking Xbox chipped cause the only fucking guy who does it round here charges a fucking fortune.

Oh OH, and I can't get Xbox fucking Live here either.

Painful.

Think of poor little old me whilst your drifting along those corners, chaps. :D

hmmm, i had someone in one of my online races driving the f50! how the hell do you do that?? he had no mic, so couldnt ask him. his gamertag was raiden, or something similar.

He's most likely a journo, or one of the Sumo guys.

Oh, and Robert, I had to decline your invitation as I don't have the demo disc

Took me six goes to beat that demo level on standard difficulty! I had to work out how to do powerslides as well  What a bastard it is. So addictive, and it's fantastic. Power sliding at 150mph in a yellow F50 in gorgeous environments? Yes please

One thing I'm confused about is the diagram at the ending showing which route you went. I thought you could burst through the "turn left" type signs, but I just get shunted back onto the track. Am I doing it wrong or something?

An interesting piece of information, if you have a debug console the game is ready to go, full version, which begs the question, why is it being released so late?.

Probably because of Burnout 3 being released this week and I've heard that Sega want to throw a lot of money at the marketing for OutRun 2.

People have been playing the full version of Outrun 2 and basically think it beats Burnout 3 to a pulp in terms of depth and sheer adrenaline inducing. But everyone here seems to think the opposite so far!. Oh well, time will tell.

They're really very different games. You may as well ask whether GT3 is better than Outrun 3, or vice versa.

i'm not bothering with the demo, i'm waiting so i can savour the game in it's fullness. with regards to Outrun 2 & Burnout 3, with OR2 i'm looking forward to the massive draw distance, beautiful enviroments and Ferrari's - taking in the views whilst doing silly power slides at insane speeds. with BO3 i'm looking forward to the sheer rush of it and the multiplayer crash modes etc. i'm sure they are both excellent games in their own right but sufficiently different enough to warrant purchasing them both. Outrun has a place in my heart though that BO will never have.

Early days for me, and I only have the Outrun demo and I've only played a couple of hours of Burnout, but I think it's a hard call. I guess I'm more excited about Burnout on Live, because it tries to do something new. The emphasis in both games is different enough to mean that it would be a fool who doesn't buy and play both. I speculate Outrun will be the long term choice for the hardcore who are looking to shave thousandths of seconds off their lap times with collisions and catchup turned off, but I'm expecting BO to be more fun and memorable (and popular in terms of numbers on Live) in the short term.

Outrun is "just another" excellent racing game, whereas BO is unique.

Just got the demo yesterday and I was totally apprehensive about loading it up as this is one game I have been really looking forward to.

My first impression "WOW" I have not had such a huge grin on my face from a game for a long time, if anyone who plays it doesn't feel the same after blasting through the courses in an F50 with Splash Wave playing must be dead inside.

Just as you turn the corner on the second stage before the first bridge, the draw distance is awesome, never have I seen a game looking this gorgeous.

This is a definite purchase.

On a sidenote as good as the burnout series is, it's always left me a bit meh.

Considering not many people have played both games (full versions) to death, it's hardly safe to assume anything, after all, it's based upon visuals and demos alone.

Anyway, quite a few people have played Burnout 3 (full game), so why can't they prefer that?
