got bubble bobble on Master system as i thought it was worth something.. dont think it is though.

Also got FFIX (9) although its missing the first cd. At the time it wasnt a problem because i already have CD1+CD2. After i bought it i had realised my 2 cds are from the original, while this was the platinum one. dont matter too much though.

If anyone wants to swap CD1 (or/and cd2 if you want it) of the original update for your Platinum CD1 then give me a PM.

I reckon our Rich makes half of these up :D

Seriously though, that is bloody good going.

Didn't pop along to the booters this morning as:

1 - I fancied a lie-in

2 - I need to save some money after adding my Outrunners machines to the collection a few weeks back.

Perhaps I'll pop along next week.

Beat me? V-P got up to beat me? Blimey. I must be hardcore

Anyway, a nice day. Boxed and sealed Pokemon Mini for a fiver. PS2 SSX Tricky for £3. Max Payne and an official XBox DVD remote and dongle for £4. GTA:VC guide for £1.50 (I can finally get around to finishing it now). A few other bits and bobs, but nothing was better than the PRICELESS look on the PikeyDad's face during this incident...

michael (to lady, struggling with table): Blimey, are you OK? Can I lend a hand?

Lady: Ooh, thank you.

michael (helping with table): No worries.

(michael helps set up the table. They flip it over, and michael prepares to leave, his good deed for the day done. However, michael spots a SNES with about 10 games (6 boxed!) in the boot of the lady's car)

michael: Hey, you've got a SNES! May I have a look at it when you're sorted out?

Lady: Sure. I'll get it out for you now.

(enter PikeyDad. The SNES is on the floor, with michael looking through it)

PD (to Lady): I'm having that. I'll give you a tenner for it.

michael: WHAT? I was here first!

Lady: You certainly were. Would you like it?

michael (with shit eating grin directed at PD): Yes please!

(cue look on PD's face as if someone has pissed on his dog)

God, I hate that lanky streak of piss. Makes the day a lot nicer when yo put one over him and his family of malnourished rat children.

Anyway, went home, had a quick pop-in at the local boot and got six unboxed SNES games for £3. Instant retro collection.

Lovely.

They do have late night shopping you know :lol::lol:

Sadly without a freezer, and with a girlfriend it was an asap mission.

Despite most electrical shops not being able to supply the one we wanted for about a year and a half until it's shipped via donkey from somewhere in the middle on nowhere...

Youre a liar, Benito.

It was not the sunniest day ever but certainly wasnt raining on Sunday.

You better get some extra bargain games in next Sunday to make up for this lapse!

You must have been alseep at 7:30am. I wasn't. I was sat in my car at the boot sale watching the rain running down the windscreen

I tried moving further afield only to encounter heavy, heavy fog and rain, so I turned around and came home.

It was alright in the afternoon but I had already been hoodwinked into a trip to Taunton and was banned from the boot sales.

Am getting really hacked off with this summer.

A trip to Taunton? You really went all out on having fun then!

Yes I was in indeed fast a asleep at that time in the morning, along with the rest of the reasonable sane poulation.

As long as it's even a tiny bit sunny on my week off next week I'll be happy.

That's a high price for a boot sale?

thats what i was thinking. They surely must have knew it was worth something. I doubt i would have bothered with that, although im sure if the games were sold seperatly it would get back the price he paid. doubt id have done that though.

Yeah it was a lot, he was one of those, "if I don't sell it here, its going on ebay" types - that seem to be appearing more and more... Has anyone else had that said to them?

The lovely condition of everything would put the total value to at least £250 and that is a minimum figure, I added it up as I went along...

I would get £125 for SoM and the SNES itself, whatever I do I won't loose money.

It was nice to see somebody that actually had a proper collection and mint throughout.

It does sound like a nice collection. I would have been tempted but I don't normally take that much money to the boot sales!

Yep, it seems you can barely look at 2 stalls without hearing the word 'ebay' a couple of times. The country appears to be obsessed! :o
