04.25.04 --- Björk uses voice instead of instruments

Björk Guðmundsdóttir is now in London finishing her upcoming album, The Lake Experience, which will be put out this year. Recordings finished in Iceland a week ago. There are no instruments on the album, all beats and music are made with Björk's and her assistants' vocals.

These include the Japanese vocal artist Dokaka, the singer of the Fantomas Mike Patton, and the Canadian Inuit singer Tagaq, who performed with Björk in concert in Iceland. Also featured are Mark Bell, who often has collaborated with Björk, Rahzel from The Roots and an Icelandic choir that was put together to sing on the album.

That's a serious line-up. Some Bjork fan around here must have some more information on this..

Anyone ever hear that Mike Patton album where every noise on the album is his voice?

Shite.

I think it's one of the best things he's ever done.
