I find your logic quite difficult to understand, what difference would watching a show arc by arc make to a person starting from the first episode anyway? Why should this person not watch as much or as little as he pleases since it's not like the show's going to run out for a while...

As for once you're caught up, yeah, fine do what you like, I just find it a touch weird you always chiming in with this bit of advice. I might actually disagree with this, since although you can satisfy your curiosity at your leisure, when you're marathoning a show, the first 5 minutes of catch up are always pretty annoying! Still this is possibly the most unimportant argument in the history of everything, ever, so, really who cares!

You said it was daunting, I offered a solution that makes it substantially less daunting. Seems fairly logical, and doesn't stop them watching as much or as little as they like :)

It's only daunting if you think of it as daunting. Like I say, I tend to find that once I start a series and get into the story, I want to watch more and see more of the story as fast as possible. I couldn't use Dandy's wierd method because frankly I'm an impatient person and when an episode comes out of something I want to watch, unless it's done by a speed group who are shit, I'll want to watch it as soon as possible.

Different strokes for different folks.

How far is it from the end? Has the creator ever spouted anything about a final chapter or being close to finishing?

Don't quote me but I seem to remember an extract from an interview with him saying that he was 2/3's through the series.

Just watched latest episodes of One Piece.

Fuck a duck that was upsetting, I was almost crying.

YES I AM A PANSY!!!!

Fuck man, I felt so sad watching that. So fucking sad.

I am really trying hard not to check the manga now. One piece is the only show that I would never risk getting spoiled.

But yeah, I dont think it was as sad as the Going Merry episode, but there was something very upsetting about it.

Aww man, you guys should be reading the manga anyway, there's still a special something which it has which lets it stand above the anime.

It was done pretty well though, as an episode. I'm actually kinda looking forward to the Edo stuff coming up, it's always good for a laugh. :)

Where are they in the Anime? I kinda stopped watching after the fight against Sanji's poster guy.

EDIT: nevermind, I've worked it out.

Must have been the total defeat.

Guess the anime is real close to the manga again. They're only like 30 chapters behind.
