Worst news ever regarding FMA: They're doing original content up until previous version split off from the manga.

So basically all versions it's a vice versa version of FMA we'll be getting. /Shakes fist

O well, I have plenty of the manga to catch up on. Fuck original content.

The impact of which is slightly lessened by having Ribbons appear exactly two seconds later in the preview, but holy shit I was shocked.

As for Ribbons, I just automatically assumed it wasn't as it appeared, so there wasn't really any impact.

No doubt they'll find a way out, like that's not really Ribbons, it's just another clone that he is controlling. He's really by VEDA in case Celestial Being make it there.

Those of you who love One Piece, can one of yous confirm when it becomes as fuck-awesome as I have been lead to believe?

up to 225 now and.... well.... its ok.

The Skypeia arc dragged to fug, so did the escape arc and whoever came up with the davy back fight one needs a good slap.

(especially when its basically been brought back after the dire memory wipe arc)

It's hard to say. I mean if you've already reached that point and still don't love it like some of us then it may not be for you. On the other hand you've got possibly my favourite arcs to date coming up in the anime, so it could be worth sticking with (starts around ep 227 IIRC). Or you could read the manga, because some of the stuff you're mentioning is anime filler I think.

I did skip the random flashback eps during Enies lobby though (not the Ohara ones, the character specific ones), they were clearly there to give the team a little rest/time to do the rest of the arc.

Who are people using for Tales of the Abyss and Gundam 00, I seem to have fallen into the trap of following groups who can't do weekly releases again.

It's amazing for such a large group to be almost as far behind as myself, who is known to always be far behind (I only watched to 10 a week ago)

I've worked out the bugs I have when using proxys on crunchyroll now, so I'm catching up on the america only stuff too

Fuck, got back from holiday and immediatly downloaded my dose of 00. Only I forgot that I haven't seen ep 21!

The glasses women revolting has been on the cards for a while, they've been gradually building it up. As for Ribbons, what if he's actually, well, VEDA? I.e. the personification of VEDA?

Sweet episode, it's going all New Hope on us.

Yeah, I was a bit gobsmacked. It's a example of why people shouldn't nominate stuff for deletion without actually knowing what they are nominating (SDF-1 not notable? lolz, its had heavy press and media coverage for 25years ffs). It's also why I don't like seeing links to deletion discussions on forums, it's just going to attract people who don't know wiki processes, and we have enough of that with DreamFocus.

So uh, I kinda got impatient and twitchy for something new to read and thought "Hey, it'll take a while till the 3rd season, let's read Black Lagoon".

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

It seems after the last part of the second season, the authour has been working on the same arc for all this time. Now, I'm only 3 chapters in but I have yet to stop smiling from how awesome it all looks to be.

If the same animation studio handle this in the same way they did the first 2 series, whatever season it airs in will instantly become a winner.

Bandai building a full scale Gundam

Bandai announced that they will build an 18 meter high 1/1 scale statue of Mobile Suit Gundam (RX-78-2) and put it on public view in July in Tokyo. The statue is made of steel frames and FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastics), and has a mobile head part, 50 luminous parts, and 14 mist-shooting devices. This is one of the special projects to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Gundam Series.
