What are they starting to imply about Setsuna and 00?

Are they both evolving somehow?

This season is the last, right?

He's not saying "I am Gundam" for nothing you know...

Episode felt a bit dull aside from the bit at the end which seemed a bit random.

Hey look, Anew's an innovator! Surprise! All these characters and they just seem to serve no purpose at all. I mean, what the hell is Marina for?

I wonder how the show would have been had they done it all at once.

It was a surprise to me. In that I thought they already knew.

You'd think the eyes would be a dead giveaway :)

Well, not really. No-one bar Tiera knows about that as he was the only one onboard that could access Veda. Lyle, for instance, wouldn't know what those glowing eyes meant.

As for Setsuna "evolving", I think it's more down to effect GN particles have on quantization as Hallelujah has his quantum brainwaves jumpstarted when the 00 Raiser goes Trans-Am in close vicinity.

Personally, I think the 00 Raiser will basically turn the entirety of humanity into Newtypes basically (or the Gundam 00 equivalent).

I love the fact that Furuya is Ribbons' seiyuu, it's a really nice reference to a corrupted Amuro of sorts.

I've said it before, but I will fucking rage right through a plate glass window if they use 00 Raiser as an amp for Marina to play hymns through.

Bushido kidnaps Marina

Setsuna goes after her cause she's wired to giant space bomb to clear out humanity for Ribbons or something

FIGHTAN!

Reunites with Marina in 00 mode

Spreads the feeling of love and peace throughout the world with naked space singing

Ribbons explodes from niceness overload

????

World Harmony!

Saji dies from crabs. Louise cries for half an hour then moves on.

It's both fucking terrible and gloriously magnificent at the same time.

It's like the producers were all on smack, took one look at Dragonball Z while listening to Journey in reverse, and let their minds dribble onto the screen.

Like all smackheads, it's at times coherent - but not for long.

Every episode I kept thinking: "But... but how do they get into their planes? There's no fucking ladders!..."

Once Sound Force comes along, you just give up trying to make sense of it all, and grin along to cheese-rock while a pink robotic plane shoots sound energy from its tits.

Damn it, now you have me downloading 7.

Anyway, I'm getting a batch containing the series, movie and 7 OVAs. But it also contains something labeled Macross 7 GMM, which I don't see any mention of on MAL or Wikipedia. It's only 25MB. What's that?

Also, I can't believe the last episode of The Twelve Kingdoms was mostly a bloody recap.

Bit disappointing isn't it? Last 3 books seem to have a resolution on all the remaining stuff but there's almost no likelyhood of it gett ing another series. Much like Banner IV.

I'm alsoing having the urge to download Macross. I mean Meh was right about Twelve kingdoms but then again he liked Paradise Kiss.

But he also likes ZOE2.

Fuck it, I'll get it after Outlaw Star. There's an order to watch it right?

It's one of the mini-mini specials. A Plus. It's called 'Good Morning Mylene', and it's entirely fluff. That batch misses out one of the mini Plus things, which is annoying, as the Macross obsessive I am will have to hunt the bastard down now, even though it's only two minutes long...

I hope you've seen the original Macross in its entirety, as the show references the living fuck out of it, and carries over several characters (though Exedore, sadly, is his almost-comatose sounding DYRL incarnation).

It's also got a few treats in store for Plus fans, as well as half of the OST, it seems (which is quite creepy, considering it's set after Plus).

I can't honestly recommend 7 to anyone, yet, in the end, everyone will be tapping away to Holy Lonely Night.

And Parakiss is awesome, in an utterly faggoty way.

Reminds me, I need to watch Macross 7, it looks great/awesome.

It's batshit crazy in places and awfully padded out (LOTS of stock footage for the fight sequences) but it's got a decent finale. The weird thing about 7 is how the continuity pretty much forgets the spiritia stuff by Frontier.

I still have a lot of the toys from when I watched it back in the 90's.

probably without subs, and likely region locked but:

the official Evangelion website has announced on Thursday that the first movie in the remake project, Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone, will get a "1.11" release on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on May 27. The 1.11 release will include new cuts and digital mastering. More details on King Record's news release will be made public on March 16. There was an earlier "1.01" version that was first released on DVD last April and given a second theatrical run that same month.

Maria+Holic is pretty funny and gets kudos for the 20th Century Boys reference at the end of ep07.

Also the ending is Chip-tune/Nes-tastic

BSS have 3 versions in a music player on their front page, including a largely English version by The Human League. And they don't even sub the show.

Caused a little confusion the first time I went to the site after they stuck the, at this time invisible, music player on there. I had just watched M+H, with the credits playing, and suddenly there were two versions of the same song playing.

They should write a book.

"How to whore a series for all its worth"

By Gainax.

It'd be up there with "How to troll your fanbase", co-authored by Gonzo and KyoAni.

They wrote a book, "How to run out of money by making Evangelion" http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&tag=rllmukforumco-21&linkCode=ur2&camp=1634&creative=6738&location=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Notenki-Memoirs-St...6345&sr=8-1

Jesus, how many tweaked versions of the same thing do they intend on making?

Well there are at least two versions of End of Evangelion that were shown in cinema, and we haven't had a Blu-Ray of the series yet

They should write a book.

With introduction by Dattebayo

But is it any good?
